This is an unusual product to try to categorise – it’s like a cross between a cushion and a gel foundation. There are only 2 shades, light and natural, & I got the light one. It’s apparently water-based and oil-free.
Comes in a little red pot with Integrate’s heart logo on the lid. Inside, there’s a puff which sits on a white mesh – press down, and a squidgy, jelly-like substance makes its way through the holes in the mesh. Then you apply it like a cushion onto your skin. It isn’t a fluid foundation like cushions, it’s more of a gel or paste. It blends easily on the skin though, and isn’t cakey in the slightest. The light shade is a little too dark and orange for me when first applied, but it gets a little lighter and peachier as it dries. It ends up between NC15-20. Used sparingly, you can’t even tell you’re wearing foundation – it’s surprisingly very natural in terms of its finish. It evens out subtle discolouration but coverage is fairly sheer so you’ll need to use concealer over problem areas. Covers pores though. Its staying power is pretty decent – even in hot & humid weather, and doesn’t melt or slide off over the day. The main issue is the colour – a light layer will blend well enough into the skin and not make you look orange, but for greater coverage and more layers, I will push down with my finger to get a decent amount of the product out, put it on the back of my hand, then mix it with a little of my lighter Healthy Mix gel foundation, another summer favourite, and then load the puff with the mixed product on my hand and apply and I get a much better colour match.
Overall I really love the finish of this, they weren’t lying when they said it gives a nude skin appearance. Another gel foundation that’s well suited to summer weather, but it isn’t particularly moisturising so I can imagine this won’t be enough for me in the winter. I think I just about prefer the Healthy Mix gel foundation overall for its radiance but this is still a great product that I really like.
