I’d had good experiences with Shea Moisture leave-in products, so I decided to try both the Tahitian Noni shampoo and conditioner. I was quite disappointed. My hair is long, quite wavy/curly, and it seems like this conditioner just made it tangle more easily. I’ve been using this conditioner for a month, leaving it in for 1-3 minutes in the shower, and I finally had to throw in the towel. There isn’t really any slip to my hair when I use this, and once my hair dries it doesn’t feel like I have conditioned at all. It smells just fine, and I like the texture, but I do not like how it practically has zero conditioning properties. Maybe oily hair would benefit from its low-level of moisture.

I bought this conditioner to go with my Coconut and Hibiscus Shampoo at Target because they were out of stock of the regular matching conditioner. The packaging for this is good with a pump, but it’d be better with a dispenser like the shampoo so you can get every last drop in the end.
When I first used this with the shampoo, I was not impressed. My hair felt dry and tangled into knots. But since I mastered diluting the shampoo, the conditioner is a light complement that today has left my hair feeling lift, fluffy and shiny. I’m not sure if I’ll stick to this duo because it’s expensive and for the price I’m not sure if it’s better than anything less expensive at the drugstore.
