I got a sample of this with the matching shampoo in the mail. It’s just an ok pair of products, I’m not really impressed by it but It’s not a bad product either. It’s just ok for me, it helps give me straight hair, but it does weight them down in the same time, so It’s not really worth it. I like my hair flat, but with volume also, so it’s not really for me..

This is perfect for my hair, no drug-store brand works better. I have very frizzy hair. I wash it about every three days.On the third day my hair won’t be tangled, it will still be smooth. It is a little pricey, for me. I usually don’t spend that much for so little. But it is a good product.

My hair is color-treated, over-processed, dry, and damaged. Both the Smooth Start shampoo and conditioner are excellent products. They leave my hair smooth and silky to the touch. I have tried many high priced products and these are absolutely just as good, and in some cases, even better. Terrific value and definitely worth trying.

I usually use high-end hair products, but once I needed something in a pinch and grabbed this off the shelf. I was pleasantly surprised! This conditioner worked better than other way more expensive brands. It left my hair soft and smelling wonderful. It was easier to detangle and really was smoother and less frizzy. I alternate using this with another brand, because another review said the silicone built up on her hair. So far, that seems to work and my hair isn’t flat and I haven’t broken out on my back. The only thing I don’t like is that the lid on the package sometimes breaks off. This stuff is great, and saves me money! I’m hooked.

I have a lot of flyaways in the winter and my hair gets really dry and crunchy from the cold air. When it comes to conditioners, though, it’s hard for me to find one that moisturizes enough to make my hair soft and sleek without breaking me out from the oil ingredients. I usually have a Goldilocks type of dilemma: some don’t moisturize enough, some moisturize TOO much and weigh down my hair. This one, however, is juuuuust right. It makes my hair so soft, shiny, and smooth, even if I just let it air dry, but the formula is so light that it doesn’t make my hair flat after I use it. My old conditioner did nothing for my dry ends and static-y flyaways but this one takes care of all that. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for less frizz and more glossy, hydrated hair without sacrificing volume.
UPDATE: I had to take away 2 lippies because the all the silicones in this conditioner made me break out on my back and the silicone build up made my hair brittle after using it for a while 🙁

This might be my HG conditioner!!! Love the smell, don’t mind the packaging, and it works great!!! My hair is much easier to style.

I am having a love affair with this conditioner, I cannot believe what it is doing for my hair, I don’t even recognize my hair… not to brag but I feel like a hair model after using this stuff. I am assuming it is crucial that you leave it in for a few minutes as the directions read, I let it soak in for at least a couple minutes and when I rinse my hair feels like silk. I am not even using the corresponding shampoo at the moment as I am still stocked up on my Bedhead Dumb Blonde for the moment. I will continue to use this conditioner, now that I have seen the light I can’t imagine not having this in my life.

I don’t dislike this conditioner by any means, but after continued use it gets built up in my ends quite a bit and feels filmy. I think I liked this better when it wasn’t so warm out, when my hair is really dry and needs this kind of conditioner. Maybe I will fall back in love with it then or even just after I haven’t used it in awhile. I did repurchase this though, I am on my second bottle and it’s almost gone… and a little goes a long way with this stuff if that tells you anything.

I love this conditoner. sooo moisturizing. the one i bought just says “smooth start moisturizing conditioner”. I am in love with this right now. it is replacing my beloved biolage balm so that means its pretty damn good. it fights frizzies like no other i have tried, and ive tried alot. it has olive oil in it which my hair looveesss.

I’ve tried this for 2 weeks (I wash on alternate days) and its value for money! It smooths out hair and indeed does add back moisture and nourishment. My hair is chemically straightened and this is fantastic in doing its part in maintaining and keeping my hair sleek and conditioned. I use the secret weapon as a last step too, that works well with this. Will buy again

This stuff, coupled with the shampoo version is awesome! This is one of the best smoothing and de-frizzing conditioners ever. I stood outside in the hot and humid night tonight and my hair didn’t even so much as frizz even slightly. My hair looks and feels soft, smooth and shiny, works even better than the very expensive Kerastase! Goes to show that cheaper IS sometimes better.
