I bought this on a 50% off sale at ulta, but it’s still not worth it. I am familiar with silicone free conditioners and the difference in feeling to hair between silicones and non silicone products. That all being said, this conditioner wasn’t very good. Maybe for finer, less dense hair it’s an ok choice. For wavy hair that isn’t particularly thick, but each strand is somewhat coarse? Nope, not enough. While I’ve found that silicones work well in my hair, especially if they are further down the list of ingredients, some silicone free products also work well. This isn’t one of them. I’d have to use way too much product each time to achieve any conditioning, and when hair dried it was much more coarse and frizzy than with other conditioners (both silicone free and those with silicone). Hair is dead, so use what makes your hair feel good, behave how you like, and look how you want. Silicone isn’t the devil, and natural oils “seal” the hair very much like silicones (oil is not water souable, and neither is silicone). Use what works for you regardless of ingredients and don’t stick with something that isn’t working. Overall, nice scent and some conditioning ability, but little slip and not much moisture. I’ll be returning.

DONT get fooled by negative reviews.
This conditioner and its mango shampoo are SILICONE FREE. So why are people saying they ”feel worse” with their hair after using?
What happens when you use silicone products for a long time (like almost all drugstore hair products) is that silicone acts as makeup on your hair. It seals cuticles and coats around the hairs to make them ”appear” shiny and healthy, while its just hiding actual condition. That happens with ”x minute miracle!” kinda conditioners.
Now, when you stop using silicone products on your hair, finally over time you see your real state of hair. Yes, in most cases it will be looking not so masked and makeup’d anymore.
But thats ok because you are letting it be free and natural, and now you can take care according to your condition.
After you use these silicone free products for a while, your hair will feel natural and healthier.
Is silicone completely bad? No, of course not. With some people it helps them even to protect hair in a way.
But id rather have natural hair than masked one – even if my natural state isnt perfect.

There was no where near enough conditioner to accompany the matching shampoo. I did enjoy the scent and it did leave my hair soft, but i don’t think it’s worth the price, other cheaper conditioners do the same job. Also not cruelty free so wont repurchase.

I have long thick curly hair and really need a good conditioner to detangle my hair. This is decent but not great. The texture is neither too thick nor too runny, spreads easily and washes off without much effort. The scent is quite faint and doesn’t linger. It didn’t make my hair more healthy or manageable. Pass.

Don’t let the negative reviews scare you away from this conditioner, it’s actually more detangling and moisturizing than other Klorane conditioners I’ve tried (quinine, oat milk) but fortunately I haven’t experienced any coating or residue left on my hair. It has a nice mango scent that fades quickly because it’s not overly strong or cloyingly. I currently pair this with Bb thickening shampoo but will try it with others to see how it fares. I only apply this to the ends of my hair and go no higher than mid-strand. I want to try the mango shampoo next!

At first it in the shower i didn’t think it did anything, but when i let i dry oh my. My hair was glossy and easy to comb thru. I am using this on my kids too.

I was drawn to this mainly for the fragrance and was seriously disappointed by it. It wasn’t really moisturising at all, and I can get away with using quite light detanglers on my hair as it isn’t coloured. This felt kind of waxy and like it sat on the hair but didn’t penetrate. I found it gave no benefits. The smell was nice though.

I bought this conditioning balm together with the mango shampoo from Klorane. I thought it would be a perfect combination for my curly long hair with dry ends. I absolutely love the smell and find it a good product. The ingredience is natural and it should work also for sensitive hair and sculp (that I don’t have). It is a good balm, but nothing extraordinary. Maybe I was expecting too much from it. On my hair it didn’t show any other effect than a normal cheap conditioner.

This is an average conditioner. I bought it to use as a treatment but it’s not great even as a daily conditioner.

Unlike most US drugstore shampoos, does not coat your hair in silicone or weigh it down – just enough moisture for my fine hair, and works great following any Klorane shampoo. I like the smell, and leave it on for a few minutes. I wish they would make it in the same sort of bottle as the shampoo! Hard to get the last out.
