I really love this line! I’m on my 3rd bottle of this because it really tames my hair without killing the volume or weighing it down. My ends are smoother when I use this and I barely need any finishing oil after blow drying, without it I’ll typically need something like an oil for my ends to look smooth. It smells beautiful and exotic, plus the bottle is pretty. It’s a really great find, it’s aloe based so it’s so soothing. I could go on and on, I think it’s a great line overall.

I bought both the shampoo and conditioner as I had heard great things. First of all I loved that this is vegan and didn’t have the normal nasties, it’s not easy trying to get shampoos like this.
Sadly it is nothing special. It is ok, don’t get me wrong, but at £9 each it is no worth the price as far as quality goes. The shampoo I found was better but this conditioner did nothing for my dry, curly fine hair, it didn’t condition at all. Shame.

I love his conditioner. The package is not my favorite (I’ve found the lid breaks easily) but that does not hinder the use of the product so much as just prove annoying. I have dry, thick, coarse hair and this leaves my hair silky and shiny. I get compliments on the smell more than I really was anticipating. I find letting the conditioner sit on my hair for 3-4 mins works best for my hair.

I’ve already reviewed the companion shampoo, which is good. This conditioner is just as good, leaving my hair manageable for blow drying. But the product is so thick, I leave the bottle upside down in the shower, to make it easier to use and to distinguish between shampoo and conditioner bottles which are identical.
My hair is dry and very thick. The conditioner does a good job

Has a shea butter and coconut scent. This is an average hair conditioner. At it’s best, it is an average daily detangler. It did not add any hydration or conditioning treatment to my fine, dry hair.

I have both the shampoo and conditioner, but I have not been using the shampoo for the time being so I will not post a review on it until I get the chance to try it a few times.
On to the conditioner, it’s really, really good. It smells nice, and coats my hair evenly. I try to keep it on as long as possible (anywhere from 15 min to over an hour), and no matter how long it’s been on, my hair feels soft and healthy-ish after rinsing. And that’s not an easy thing to accomplish, as my hair is heavily bleached and has been ruined by fusion extensions so it’s dry and blah.
I actually didn’t expect to be so happy with this product, but I feel it does better than my Joico K-Pak Intense Hydrator!
The only thing I dislike is how difficult it is to get out of the bottle, I have to leave the bottle upside down until I use it, and then shake and squeeze lol…too much trouble with wet hands! But for how well it performs, it’s not that big of a deal.
Once I get the chance to use the matching shampoo as well, I have a feeling it will perform even better.
So an A+, I like everything about it, price included.

I tried this because it was on sale (just being honest here, nonprofit work does not support my expensive tastes) and didn’t expect much. I’m super sensitive to silicone in hair products and have had a particularly difficult time finding a conditioner which is cruelty free, doesn’t make my hair feel waxy and gross or dried out, and also doesn’t make me break out into a rash. Carole’s Daughter has worked really well for me (the Sacred Tiare shampoo and conditioner) but I’ve had trouble finding it lately and it’s about $15 a bottle now. So, my broke ass tried this instead and it works really well. It’s kind of hard to get the conditioner out of the bottle without doing the upside-down-ketchup-bottle trick, but otherwise it’s great and makes my wavy, thick, color-treated hair feel very soft. This would be way too heavy for fine or thin hair, but if you are looking for something very moisturizing for course or dry hair this is a good one.

Love this conditioner, in fact I love this brand! This is the perfect complement to the shampoo and it works wonders on my medium-thick wavy/curly hair. I have a lot of hair and typically require a lot of conditioner to detangle and coat my hair enough to get it soft and manageable. Not the case with this conditioner. After using it’s partner shampoo I only need a relatively small amount to get the conditioning I require. Maybe because the shampoo does an amazing job of softening and detangling my hair I use less than I normally would. Regardless, this line from the brand smells delicious, performs fantastic and I am a huge fan. Highly recommend for those with dry hair.

I was searching for a “better” conditioner since I had JUST cut 2 inches off of my hair 6 weeks ago and it was ALREADY looking fried and dried despite not using any styling tools. I walked down the aisle at Walmart and realized that the conditioners all had water as the first ingredient and some type of alcohol as the second….even as I continued into the more and more expensive brands, they still had alcohol as the second ingredient! I determined that I would find SOMETHING without that drying alcohol ingredient (at least so far near the front) and came upon this.
I paid $6.50 for each bottle (I got shampoo, conditioner and the spray oil) hoping for the best but not expecting much. In full disclosure, I also bought Ultra-Swim shampoo to get a good clarifying cleanse before starting this since google searching told me that switching from sulfates to natural cleansers takes a bit of an adjustment that I wanted to avoid (and supposedly my city water has chlorine added so I figured it couldn’t hurt to use this stuff.) I did have to shampoo with that Ultra-Swim about 3 times in a row before getting a good suds worked up, but then I got a great suds from this shampoo and realized to my amazement that I could actually run my fingers through my hair during this shampoo stage! Normally I shampoo up, rinse it out, then condition and run my fingers through it to get all the loose hair out–I simply can’t run my fingers through UNTIL adding conditioner. Not with this! I was running my fingers through it and through it and through it, amazed at the feeling! The conditioner was just as “luxurious”…there’s no other word for it!
I have since washed with just these 2 and I don’t get the VAST amount of suds from that first wash, but that’s not surprising…I probably would if I shampooed 3 times like I did that first time (but it’s not necessary now.) I still get a lot of suds and that conditioned feeling, though. I MIGHT could go without the conditioner and use only the moisturizing shampoo, but my hair is super dry so I won’t even try. I haven’t had any adjustment period to this (again, could be because of the Ultra-Swim clarification?) What REALLY got me was that google-searching mentioned scratching your head and getting “dead skin cells” under your nails (which I totally did) but then they said it was actually the sulfates left over…and sure enough, I don’t get that under my nails now! I love this stuff!!!! And I only wash my hair every 3 days, so it will last me a LONG time! I even brought some travel sizes to work to share with a couple of friends, and they’re in love, too! But if you don’t have dry hair, this is NOT the product for you!

I honestly didn’t have high hopes for this line. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of their products and how great my hair looks and feels. I use the Shea shampoo and conditioner and my hair is left feeling clean, soft and full of moisture. The shampoo gently cleanses and the conditioner is very moisturizing and has great slip for being silicone free. I usually use the Shea Moisture line and this is just as good if not better. I find Maui Moisture leaves my hair feeling lighter and more moisturized and my hair stays cleaner longer then Shea Moisture does. I can actually go and extra day or two between shampooing. All in all this is a great line and definitely worth a try. Just wish the bottles were a bit bigger!
