I had the shade 22 and it worked really well with my NW 20-25 skin when I applied it on my undereye area. If I used it on its own, it creased quickly on me, but when I used in conjunction with the Pixi Beauty Correction Concentrate, it worked well, did not crease and lasted for 6-8 hours with little creasing. i did not use it on my face because it does not cover my spots. As for the finish it is dewy, so if you prefer a more matt look, you need to set it with powder.
Since a little bit goes a long way, it lasted me for approx. two years.
It comes in a glass jar with a metallic lid and contains 5.67 g/0.20 oz and retails for approx. 35 euro.
RMS Beauty is a cruelty-free and natural brand.

This rich emollient potted buttery “cream” foundation is a throwback to the 1980’s. These were typically marketed to those with very dry and mature flakey skin as it gives a fresh dewy finish with lots of long lasting moisture. I used to love these type of foundations on my combo skin for the glow they give, and this modern version does the same, although I find the coverage it gives is not as good as the old versions.
Coverage is sheer to light medium at best. I also find it wears off me very quickly, around the 2 – 3 hours. RMS claims this works as a concealer and an eyeshadow but both are a joke, its just a regular foundation and not even a full coverage one. It can be layered but no matter how much I put on, dark circles, age spots and dark patches all shine through this foundation.
You may need to change up your beauty routine and companion beauty products when working with this “clean” foundation. Its a heavier thick “butter” texture so it doesn’t spread well when patted out with a damp beauty blender. Its best warmed up and worked into the skin with fingers or the small dense RMS brush (Shiseido make a similar one). Because its oil based, it doesn’t work well with many other water based, powders, and many silicone products. Oil based cream products do work well. Perhaps I was unlucky but I found it pilled over most of my moisturisers, primers and sunblock. I notice most of mine say “oil-free”. Powder blushes, bronzers and highlighters cling to areas and go patchy over this foundation so its best with cream cheek products too.
Like the vintage versions, this foundation NEVER sets on the skin. It doesn’t stay put, leaves the skin feeling sticky, almost wet, and transfers onto EVERYTHING. Phones, hands, clothing. You can NOT touch your face or the makeup comes off. If you have very fine long hair, your hair will stick to your face if you wear it down. If you wear a scarf or white collar it gets dirtied. When you try on clothes at a store you need to cover your face with a scarf to protect the clothing from getting your makeup on it. In the 80’s stores always had a scarf hanging in the changing rooms for this purpose. Needless to say if you have oily skin this makeup will slide and melt off, especially in the heat. All these reasons is why colorstay foundations became so popular in the 90’s.
Contains coconut oil, and beeswax which some people find clogs their pores and causes breakouts. Did not clog my pores but felt heavy and itched my sensitive skin.
There are 16 shades in the range, I tried 3 of the lightest. The company doesn’t describe the undertones so its not very helpful trying to pick out shades.
Shade 000 (the lightest) is described as an “alabaster for very fair skin”. It has a neutral grey undertone which looks weirdly grey and aging on my very fair bright yellow skin. If you have a muted neutral to cool skintone this might work for you.
Shade 00 (the 2nd lightest) has a neutral to yellow undertone. Cool-toned people have described this as “very yellow” on blogs but its not. I have Nars Siberia and Chantilly and its nowhere near as yellow as those, its just neutral leaning yellow. The undertone works better for me but its too dark. My white mixers do not mix well with this oil based product.
Shade 11.5 (the 4th lightest) has a neutral peach undertone with no grey. I think this would suit bright, light skintones. Too orange and deep for me.
Worth a try if you have a shade match and don’t mind working with the issues.

The finish and feel is very similar to Glossier Stretch Concealer. Both are coconut oil based products, very emollient with a dewy finish. RMS is a bit more dry than SC. If you like the SC finish and you’re looking for a clean beauty alternative, then definitely try RMS Uncover-up, just be aware that the color range is very different between both.

I will add my voice to the pantheon of rms devotees.
I have been mucking about trying to decide what and how much creams/serums/foundation I want on my skin. Turns out serum and a good dollop of moisturizer. It’s so important to really work the moisturizer into the skin, I give myself a full-tilt massage every time I apply my serums and creams and then let the creams do their job for a couple of minutes and THEN I apply my concealer(s) buffet. I am very very pleased with this concealer, which I use all over my face in various locations and blending seamlessly is definitely an accurate description.
I have #22 and it works well on my light yellow-toned complexion, I have used my fingers to pat it on and sometimes I use a small non-latex wedge to apply and I think the finger method works best for me. I should add that I use a variety of concealers and highlighters on my face as I think that’s what gives my 66 years old skin some dimension and a little oomph. I have had to no issue with the commingling of other concealers which include: Sisley#2(although this really should be given away as it is just too peachy for me, any takers?), Lap Prairie Concealer/Highlighter pen #10(I love this stuff, buy it on eBay), Chanel concealer #10(in very small judicious amounts, great coverage a bit light for me, but I tough it out), Touche Eclat in the lightest shade as it is so thin and non-covering, but great for brightening (while it lasts), Tatcha’s brightener(I’m sorry I forgot the name)is terrific around the mouth and nostrils.
Golly, I guess that’s about it.
P.S. If anyone. is reading this wants/needs/swap the Sisley concealer let me know, I also have a half-used in Peche mi bottle of La Prairie’s foundation in Peche mixed with Warm Linen

I use this as a foundation and have repurchased many times – it’s a great product for me. I use shades 00 and sometimes 11. I use a damp beauty blender and blend it well. With this application, it offers sheer, but buildable coverage that evens out my skin and covers redness. For additional coverage, I go in with a small brush and spot conceal. It gives me dewy skin, that doesn’t look too heavy. This will not cover dark under-eye circles or major issues. On these days, I typically also use a peach product to help cancel the darkness under my eyes or use a more heavy duty concealer.
It can be a bit greasy looking on me (especially since I like to use oily sunscreens). I set with a touch of powder through the middle of my face, as well as a setting spray.
It’s a small pot, but it typically lasts me a year. I really like the packaging. It’s easy to travel with. I also like reusing the pots for other products that arent so travel friendly.
It’s currently $36 USD. They’ve recently expanded their shade range, but it’s still not overly inclusive. Since RMS is growing, hopefully, they will continue to offer expanded shades.
If you can find your shade, it’s a good option for those who like a sheer to medium coverage and a dewy/glossy skin look.

First the good, it’s lovely packaging and it goes on smooth, did not break me out.
Now – my main reason to buy a concealer is undereye circles which I have genetically. I have pretty good skin and don’t need much coverage.
This does not conceal the circles at all….I use shade 22 which is nice and I am using it to even out redness on my face but honestly, this is a tad expensive for just one type of use. I went back to my Mineral Fusion concealer because it actually covers up my circles.

Update 11/10/19: Unfortunately this product gives me acne. Knocked down from 5/5 to 3/5.
At first, I was skeptical of a coconut-oil based concealer, but I needed something light coverage for the summer months — I bought this as a recommendation from Alanna Davison’s glowy skin video because she always looks so darn good!!!
Now I see why this RMS Un-Coverup has such a cult following. It’s like my skin but better. I have this in the shade #22 which is a light-medium tone. The shade range doesn’t seem too expansive, but I was impressed that it didn’t come off as too orange or too pink on my skin — it definitely just looked like, well, my skin! But better! The coverage is light, which is exactly what I wanted — and after a day’s wear, your skin looks diffused and as another reviewer said it: like a baby’s butt. I have dry skin, and the coconut oil continuously hydrated my skin throughout the day.
I would smooth on an oil before tapping this on however, as it helps the concealer melt into your skin and aids with spreadability. The one I used is my Murad Oil, but any oil probably works fine. I did also apply a treatment serum which made the concealer “pill” in a gummy way — so I’d be weary of layering treatments underneath this product. Highly recommend this product who have dry to normal skin as the concealer is a little dewy, and for those who have good, mostly unblemished skin.
Update: I’ve now switched to #33 during the summer months, which is best for those with golden tones in their skin. And, for the most part, I actually use this more as an everyday, dewy foundation for when I’m at the office and when I’m feeling minimalist! The formulation is also made with ethically sourced beeswax, so for the most part — vegan-friendly. I’ve been in love with this product since mid-June, and I haven’t worn any other foundation since!

I wear shade #66 and even though the amount of product is fairly small it doesnt take much to cover face. It truly covers the shadows under my eyes and evens out my skintone. A little goes a long way. Doesnt pill up over my skincare and with no fragrance I havent experienced any irritation. No oxidation either. Sometimes I set it with her powder in the untinted version. And in FL heat/humidity the wear time is about 8 hours. During the cooler months I can get away with not setting it with any powder. I’m so impressed with this product that I went ahead and purchased a back up.

One of my HG products. I buy this in 11.
This has replaced all my foundations. I would never go back.
It is not meant to cover your entire face, just even out the problem spots – around your nose, under your eyes.
I use it with a Juice Beauty sunblock that has a slight tint to it and that is it for me.
Apply with your fingers.
It does not EVER settle in my pores. EVER.
It does not have any silicone in it. That is a huge plus. If you have problem skin .. even if you don’t.
It does not really work very well as a concealer, though, if you have a serious spot that you need to cover, you will want to use something else.
I know it seems expensive, but it lasts a long time. You don’t need much. I use this with the RMS powder, and I am good for the day.

This gives a beautiful finish to the skin, glowing, radiant and with just enough cover.
Love the ingredients, but unfortunately I’m getting clogged pores/milia under my eyes and just above the cheeks.
I really wish I didn’t react to this, it’s among the best I’ve tried.
Shade 00 was perfect for me, have Alpine Rose in 100% Pure’s Healthy Skin Foundation, my all time favorite (just wish it had more “glow” for drier winter weather).
