This is my HG concealer! I like this better than Tarte Shape Tape, Kat Von D Lock It and any of my favorite drug store options. A little goes a long way with this. I apply it to the under eyes and to redness/ blemishes. I then spread it with my finger a tad and finish blending with the damp RT sponge. Works like a dream! The finish is very natural and very high coverage…a perfect combination! This sits well over foundation as well as on its own. It doesn’t crease under my eyes when my skin is prepped with adequate hydration and primer n set with a powder lightly. It feels so very thick but once you start blending it out, it melts into the skin beautifully. Highly recommend this concealer! This is high end quality at a mid end price. Fantastico!

I’ve been using this product for over a 2 weeks now and I love it! Previously my go to concealer was Clinique’s advanced concealer, which was discontinued, then Clinique’s all about eyes concealer. I was stuck on Clinique’s concealer since I’ve used it as a teen during my acne prone phase. I was worried any other concealer would not provide the same coverage + break me out. Since Clinique seems to be discontinuing many of their products, I figured it was time to switch.
Sephora’s Make No Mistake is $14 compared to Clinique’s price tag of $20, which is one of the major selling point for me. The consistency of Make No Mistake is definitely thicker compared to Clinique’s, which is fine to me. A little definitely goes a long way. I noticed I don’t have to use as much product compared to Clinique’s concealer. I use the concealer over a patch of dark spots that I have on my right cheek and it does the job great. One of the things that is noticeably different is that, despite layering on the concealer to cover the dark spots, I notice the area remains matte and does not form an oily patch compared to other concealers. Plus, there are no break outs so far! That’s one of the reasons why I’m making this my HG!

Well, I’ll be the one to rain on the parade. This is Amazing Concealer (note that Sephora is now phasing out their products) in Sephora packaging at a better price. It is highly pigmented, the color descriptions are accurate, and the tube is perfect for dispensing the small amount needed, but those are the only real positives for me. I bought this to conceal the melasma/sun damage on my face, which is very difficult to cover (I use GA HP Retouch under my eyes and love it), so I will not address undereye usage in this review. The product is very thick and surprisingly–well, it’s greasy (and I have dry skin). Oily skins will not like this. The thickness, greasiness, and pigmentation combined make it more than a bit of a pain to work with. Apply too much, and you’ll be blending until you’ve covered your entire face; not enough, and it the coverage is patchy. Because of the greasiness it’s quite easy to blend, but if you want to use it under foundation (which I did), forget it. Nothing is going to stay in place atop this–other products (foundation and cream blush) separate and slide off, even if the concealer is set with a bit of powder (which it consumes at an alarming rate–I don’t know how much powder can suck up this much grease). And, of course, because it’s so emollient, it creases. I’m over having to spend a lot of time to make a product work, so that alone rules this out for me.
Big props to Sephora for putting out a highly pigmented concealer with a wide range of shades at a great price, but they need to tweak the formula a bit to make it useful for a wider range of skin types. I’ll be returning this concealer and going back to Shape Tape, which stays where I put it and only needs a tap of a damp sponge to set (powder unnecessary). BTW, I’m an NC 15-20 and purchased this in Sesame (02), and it was a very good match.

Well, I’ve been on something of a “quest”–for a concealer that could actually COVER blemishes without looking cakey. Who’d think it would be SO difficult to find! I don’t have a lot of spots at my age, but a few red marks around my mouth area are troublesome. I tried using powder under, powder on top, layering… sigh. Then I read that people were saying this is similar to Shape Tape but less dry; I didn’t try ST due to the dryness, with my dry skin it just wouldn’t work.
So, in my experimenting, I’d found that if I used a green corrector/concealer, then applied a skintone concealer over it, the green “bleached” out the skintone one and it looked lighter, highlighting the area I wanted to conceal. So, I thought, maybe try a slightly darker skintone concealer? So I showed up at Sephora with my green corrector and tried out colors on top of that–on my face/red marks; tired of getting the wrong thing due to swatching on arms.
I’m fair, neutral leaning cool, and generally go with one of the three lightest in foundation/concealer. After messing about with several shades (I did put on my hand first to narrow down choices), I ended up with 05 Chicory, which is quite peachy/pink. But applied over my L.A. Girl green concealer (see my review of that), the two combine seamlessly and actually cover my marks!
I do foundation first, then apply the green, allow it to set for at least a minute–do something else in the meantime–then pat it out just a bit, then pat the Sephora over it with my fingers. I have not needed powder, truthfully afraid to try it and make it cakey. I may give it a whirl soon, just to see.
I love the tiny tube, easy to get out just what one needs. And the huge range of shades is the best! So tired of “Fair/Light/Medium/Deep” with no acknowledgement of different undertones. I may get a lighter shade for my undereyes soon….

Finally — a high coverage concealer that matches me. I have muted, cool yellow skin at an NC35-7 depth and 10 Vanilla Bean is perfect. High coverage, isn’t cakey, feels very light, natural-looking, and you need so little. I actually mix a tiny bit of this with my sunscreen (TINY, so it’s not diluting don’t worry) and use it all over for a lightly tinted base, and then use the concealer on hyperpigmentation and blemishes. Such a gorgeous, naturally flawless look. I have difficult to match skin, so it’s nice being able to get away with mainly spot concealing and have it look natural.

I’m always on a quest for the perfect concealer, one that lasts all day without drying out my undereyes. I have found MAC Pro Longwear to be the longest lasting but unfortunately it tends to look dry on my 60 year old eyes and emphasize lines. This Sephora one is very good and although it doesn’t last for 12 hours even with setting powder it holds up pretty well. It’s thick and creamy but not overly matte and I can use it both for dark circles and to conceal facial discolorations. You only have to use a small amount and the narrow squeeze tube allows you to dispense the right amount. I like that Sephora offers a very wide range of shades for this product (16 on its website). I got it in the Shade 03 Poppy and it’s a good colour match for my NW20 skin. At $18CDN I feel this product is very good value for money given the quality.

I have been using Nars Radiant concealer for a while now for covering any blemishes or hyperpigmentation….but to be honest i was never completely satisfied with it because coverage are not very high and it moves alot with no staying power……by afternoon time most of the spots are visible………..and it;s so expensive!!!!!
I’m so happy that decided to try this baby………when i swatch it in the store i can already tell it’s super pigmented and it will stay…….it’s almost sticky but also very spreadable which is good because it stays at where u want it to be and not be moving around and dissappearing fast….ever since i bought this i don’t even touch my nars anymore….i have ultra sensitive skin but this doesnt seem to be bothering it and cause any problems……..i also tried the makeup forever version before but this is way way better because for some reason the one from make up forever changes colors after it dries and it didn’t come in many colors so i was never able to get it right………..
In term of packaging this also wins because i can easily control how much product comes out and should be able to squeeze out most of what’s inside instead of the dofa applicator from nars which waste so much products at the end……
Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!! btw i’m around nc 30 and i got this in vannila bean and it’s perfect match (for face not for eyes)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW, this stuff is GREAT and an amazing value. Of late, one of my favourite concealers has been Make Up For Ever’s Ultra HD. This new product from Sephora seems almost identical in that it offers amazing coverage and you need the minutest amount – the head of a pin is more than enough for each eye and might even do both eyes. This concealer is creamy but not greasy. It doesn’t go all dry and chapped looking, like Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. It doesn’t look dry or settle into lines the way MAC Pro Longwear (which I do still love) can. I have this in the shade Poppy, which Sephora’s site describes as “light with neutral undertone” but I have the feeling that’s an error and they actually meant “light with pink undertone” because the next shade to it, Ginger, is also described as “light with neutral undertone”. This wonderful stuff is only $18 Canadian for a .33 ounce tube that will likely last me 5 years. In comparison, MUFE’s Ultra HD, which I do think is a fantastic product, is $34 for less product (.23 oz). Like the MUFE product, it also comes in a really wide range of shades to suit all skin colours and undertones. Definitely worth checking out!

I love this concealer. I’m NC15 or so, and the lightest shade works for highlighting. It has great coverage, blendability, and longevity. It also sets well and doesn’t crease. After trying a ton of much more expensive concealers at Sephora, this might be my favorite one yet.
