I really wanted to love this but I couldn’t.

It’s buildable.
Bads:
Drying. It accentuated my fine lines and dryness in my undereye area. I have dry undereyes to begin with but this makes it worse. I tried it with and without primer, with and without powder and I got the same result.
Shade 20WY isn’t yellow toned as the name would suggest. It’s light peachy.

Let’s start with the good bits. I liked the curved doe foot applicator on this. 4.0 NY was bang on in terms of tone (I’m NC20/25). However, I found this somewhat messy in application and the dry-down accentuated wrinkles and dry patches. Surprisingly, the coverage this provided didn’t manage to stand up against my few dark spots. One had to keep on sandwiching the product with powder which, predictably, created a clumpy mess. I’m finding that a little Bare Minerals stick foundation does the same job but with a much smoother finish.
