I went into the store with the intention to buy a Nars concealer but I couldn’t find a good shade match (luckily), and I ended up finding this gem. I had never heard of it before since it’s a brand new product that launched this fall but I’m glad I stumbled on it!
At first I thought this was pricey because it is more expensive than some of the other concealers I was considering (Nars, MUFE) and also because its Guerlain after all, but if you do the math, its actually a bit cheaper. This comes in a little squeeze tube with a very fine tip so you have very good control over how much you squeeze out. Since there is no applicator, it is very sanitary.
The formula is said to work on both undereyes AND imperfections. I had tried it in store on my under my eyes and was happy with the coverage, but I had my doubts about it working on imperfections. I’ve come to become accustomed to using a thinner concealer under my eyes and a thicker/dryer one on spots, but much to my surprise, this concealer works really well on my spots (maybe even better than my dry ones – aka Laura Mercier). The texture is very creamy, and it has VERY good coverage. I was able to do my undereyes and spot correct with a pin size amount. The tube should last a while since you need so little! The formula is creamy but not cakey, and it just melts into the skin for a very natural finish. I set it with powder and it lasts all day. I have very minor fine lines, but I haven’t experience any creasing or settling. It really does brighten the undereye area so I’m very surprised how well it works on dark spots. The finish of this concealer is very beautiful – like your skin but better!
The only downside is the shade range which contains only 6 colors. If you are able to find a shade match, I recommend giving this one a try!
