I love this concealer for the redness round my nose and spot cover… Firstly I apply a silicone primer so it slides on easily, as it is VERY drying VERY full coverage and can be difficult to blend. However, there’s nothing like the coverage!… It hides everything. It can be a bit too thick for under eye area, though I sometimes use it there on particularly bad days. Mixing it with primer helps it thin out a little and blend better. The tube is annoying as its very difficult to squeeze out. But you only need the tiniest bit, I mean a pin prick, to cover both eyes, so it will last forever… Though I did stick up on one more incase they ever discontinue as always happens with things I love!!! So annoying. Does anyone else stock up or am I nuts! I love this concealor though and hope they never stop making it. 🙂

I am so so disappointed!! – £24, on the most drying concealer I have ever purchased. It is far too thick, so much so that you can barely squeeze out of the tube. It creases within seconds of application and it cakes up into patches and I don’t even have dry skin!
Awful product. I tried different foundations to see if that would help it out but still the same.
It might work for people with extremely oily skin, but for “Normal” skin I will personally not be re purchasing!

This is not your everyday concealer. This is ultimately full coverage. I think it has more coverage than Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Enhancer. Cle de Peau is medium coverage compared to this.
So yes, you literally use a pin size to cover your dark circles. I can see how people who’s not used to such a thick formula have issues with cakiness, creasing or trouble squeezing the tube.
This is great for those concealer junkies that’s always looking for the best coverage out there so I am kinda sad to see the low ratings 🙁

I’ve had this concealer for well over a year now, and with a little experimentation, have learned how to use it in a manner that will work for me. A tiny, tiny dot is needed to cover my dark hereditary circles – promise. After applying a thin layer with my fingers, I slowly build up in areas that may need more coverage, like the crease that begins at the corner of my tear duct and extends just above my cheek bones. Then I set it with NARS setting powder. The coverage is excellent, it LASTS, and I am left with the appearance of a fresh, bright, smooth face. It just takes practice and time.
What I was doing before was using a corrector first, then applying far too much of this LM concealer. My result was a crusty, flaky, cakey finish that emphasized my bags, and lines I didn’t even know I had under my eyes. Now, no corrector (as this concealer is thick and pigmented enough to cancel out the darkness) and I just build up and blend.
Would I buy it again? Maybe not. This will last an incredibly long time, especially considering the minuscule amount I’ll need to cover my dark circles. New concealers are always being put on the market, and maybe by the time this is finished, I’ll have found a new one that is creamier and takes less time to apply. In the meantime, I do feel like this was money well spent, and will be my go-to concealer.
*EDIT*
OR, just use a damp blending sponge (ANY one will do). Bounce bounce bounce, blend blend blend, particularly in that “crease” corner and it will look smooth for a good portion of the day. At the end of the day it WILL cake up, though. Still, heavy coverage means my hereditary circles are camouflaged pretty well.

After working at Nordstrom, my co worker introduced me to this product, and every time I want to try something new when I run out, I keep repurchasing it over and over again! So heres MY review:
Pros: Full coverage, easily blendable, great color match (i’m very fair so # 1 and 2 are the ones I wear) it lasts all day. I have very dark circles under my eyes so this makes it look as I am awake and refreshed! The price is $30 and I think it’s an excellent price because it LASTS ME OVER A YEAR and I USE IT EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Cons: – It DOES crease BUT if you “bake” your concealer it will set it, and it will NOT crease so simply just putting a powder on top won’t do.
Also, I am normal to oily and sometimes i’ll find it to be a bit oily at the end of the day, but nothing worth freaking out over.
Being a makeup artist, sometimes products only have bad reviews because people with a certain skin type will use it and hate it, or they simply are naive and don’t know how to use the product properly.
I love this concealer!

This is a great product, despite the low-ish rating. The package indicates the product is for under eye use, and for a tiny amount to be applied with a patting motion. Any other utilization of this is going to be a hot mess, which has been my experience with Laura Mercier’s products.
If you need acne/redness/discoloration coverage, opt for Secret Camouflage (I initially loathed it until I figured out how to use it. Now you couldn’t pry it from my cold, dead hands for spots/ruddiness).
If you have dark circles, give this a try. I squeeze the tiniest bit and pat the product against the dispenser a few times. With foundation on, I then pat the product on my under eye gently. For me, it’s the perfect consistency. Secret Camouflage is dry, Erase Paste is sticky, and I find my beloved Rimmel 2-in-1 sometimes makes my eyeliner slide off.
I think the temptation with any concealer is to want to paint the problem away, especially for dark circles. I’ve seen MUAs on Youtube with these beautiful palettes of creamy paint that make under eyes look perfect with these broad strokes of a brush all over. In my brain, more product means better results! But I haven’t found a product like that. This gets the job done if I restrain myself.

This was a definite no for me. It’s so thick it’s difficult to get out of the tube & that’s before you use it! This was recommended by the SA to cover my dark eye circles. Yes it does cover amazingly but creases like mad within 30 mins thus ageing you. I have tried & tried to get this product to work due to the cost but to no avail. Here in the UK we can’t return products. I contacted LM themselves but the customer services are non existent so not impressed.

Oh my god! This concealer is a disaster!the texture is very heavy,it is not easy at all to blend and for sure i don’t know why they call it high coverage.I have dark circles and since i have tried a lot,and i mean a lot concealers,i thought i should give this a chance.I did tried before i purchase it and it seemed ok.But when i applied it by myself it was horrible. My eyes looked sooo dry even with moisturizer underneath and i noticed that it creases within a minute. As for the coverage that says that it provides..sorry laura mercier but this concealer is a big NO!
blissfulFlamingo8
this is really highly pigmented and cover my under eye dark circles well. but on my dry skin it is horrible. for normal to oily skin this would work perfect.
sheepishCoati5
This is my go to cool weather under eye concealer. I have very oily skin and this lasts without creasing with primer and setting powder. To ensure proper coloring and coverage I always mix two colors, but I do think I could get away with one in a pinch. Very impressed with the color range available.
Update 3/2/2016: we moved from Virginia to NY and this just does not work for my skin anymore, creased like crazy. Pity, the pigmentation is amazing. Package squeezes out a teensy amount, so no worries about over use.
