Despite the hefty price tag, this has been my favorite anti blemish concealer over the past few years and for good reason. The formula has some pretty great ingredients to help minimize your blemishes and conceal them without leaving an unsighlty flaky or dry ring around them like most anti acne creams or just regular concealers tend to leave behind. It has shea butter, retinol and salicylic acid with a nice creamy consistency that is thicker than most anti acne concealers that I have used in the past but yet blends out nicely and easily with the right concealer brush.
I prefer using my Elf studio pro concealer one and find that it pairs really nicely with this specific formulation.
Now before finding this concealer I would use the neutrogena and almay anti acne concealers and even though they did have some minor ingredients to aid in getting rid of acne, i found the formulation to be way too thin and runny to actually give good coverage and would wear off much too quickly as well. I find that this concealer has much better staying power and because it helps combat acne just makes me feel better about dabbing it on a blemish rather than having that inner cringing guilty feeling of putting a random concealer on it that you know is just going to exasperate the problem. Only thing that may suck for many aside from the price tag is that the shade range is pretty limited. Luckily the shade “medium” fits my light/medium with neutral undertones skin nicely but I could see it being an issue for many to find their color with how limited the choices are. Also, even though the product states that it can be used in the under eye area i really wouldnt recommend it for that because I feel like it would be crease city up in there for real.. The formula is much too thick for that if you ask me… For that same reason I also wouldn’t recommend it to be used to cover any wrinkle lines.
But for the sole purpose of covering blemishes and post acne marks it works great for me.
Now as for the sensitivity to sun while using this product issue, I don’t see how anyone would be surprised..ahas are known to increase the sensitivity and if you are looking for a cosmetic to specifically aid in combatting your acne you more than likely won’t find one without that label on it but it’s nothing a little spf can’t fix so if taken care of properly if won’t be an issue. For that reason, I personally use my physicians formula spf 30 mineral loose powder and also use my ulta rose water spf 50 makeup setting spray and take it along with me to lightly spray while I am out and about for protection. If you are a spf moisturizer kinda gal you can just go that route as well. Last but not least the packaging is in a cute and slim little compact like container that I find convenient and not clunky so it won’t take up much space in your makeup bag/organizer or purse.
I have had mine for nearly 3 years now and it is bearly on the verge of running out completely so I will definitely be repurchasing.
Bottom line, if you are prone to getting minor acne flares just here and there and are looking for a good anti acne concealer for the sole purpose of concealing blemishes then I would highly recommend this product as it gives great guilt free coverage and will last you quite a long time making it worth every penny

I should have read reviews on this product before purchasing. Ah well.
Pur is a cruelty free brand. I purchased this concealer from Shoppers Drug Mart for $29. I will be returning it.
There are a couple of gripes I have with this product, but it’s not horrible. Some of my gripes are completely personal and may not apply to you.
1.) The pricing is ridiculous. Their powder foundation is $39. It’s beyond me why a foundation is only $10 cheaper. For the amount of product you get and the way it performs I don’t think it’s worth the $29, either.
2.) The shade range is disappointing. I love their powder foundation, which is why I thought I’d try out their concealer. I am the shade porcelain when it comes to their foundation – they don’t have a porcelain shade of concealer. I wanted to try it anyways but the lightest shade is still too dark, so it’s not really wearable for me.
3.) The packaging isn’t my favourite. I think it looks really cute because it mimics my powder foundation buuuut I don’t love that I have to dip a brush or my finger into the concealer.
4.) This is a mistake on my part. Somehow I missed the big warning on the back of the product until I got home. The concealer contains an ingredient that makes you burn easier. I am baffled as to why any product would contain that, especially one meant for your face. This and the shade not being a match is why I’m returning it.
This is a heavier concealer and it does conceal my blemishes and under eye circles really well. It blends out really nicely for me and my foundation applies easily on top. It’s not a terrible concealer, at least it wasn’t for me. There are just some deal breakers I can’t overlook.

I would not buy this. It’s expensive & MAC ProLongWear is better! Not sure if PLW is about same price or not? I got this in ipsy March 2017 in a very small tube which is gr8 for purse size but it’s very concentrated. That’s the good. The bad is the price & that it isn’t readily available to me I buy on eBay, mac, Macy’s & Chanel DOT COM’s most of the time. I don’t buy from Sephora nor Ulta but very seldomly so I won’t buy/rebuy. The packaging is standard issue cute small tube it works. All in all forgettable blahhhhh boring unremarkable

I have been wearing this for under eye circles and discolouration around my nose.
The light is VERY LIGHT. I am fair skin but I purchase the medium and it matches well.
I have vitiligo, which is not very noticeable. Pur is very rich so the reason I chose this as it conceals effectively. Occassionally I can also cover around my mouth where I have no skin pigment.
For years I have used this and only read the warning on the back of the product this week.
“Sunburn alert: this product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week after.”
I was applying this product on red spots on my face and possibly putting my skin in jeapordy because sun should be avoided to protect..(eg. against broken vessels). This was an integral part of morning ritual, and it still is. As soon as I find a good replacement I will no longer purchase.
The back of makeup products usually has colour identification.

I’m a bit surprised at the low reviews on this, as I love it and will repurchase 100%.
It’s a finicky product though, which might be too much work for some. The primer used can make or break its usefulness — over MAC P+P SPF 50 it emulsified immediately, but over MAC Radiance it sets beautifully. You might have to play with it.
Where it really shines is over blemishes! Zits begone. Over dark spots, you might want to go for something with a colour correction, like a peach (Lise Watier has great corrective concealer palettes).
No matter where it’s used, it has to be set with powder. Do not try to set it with the PM 4-in-1 powder; if you have any lines at all it will settle terribly. Use a more finely milled powder, like Cover FX or MAC.
I’m going to upload a photo showing how it looks on me, with one eye concealed and one bare.
Pros: Soft, creamy, good coverage. Buildable. Great over pimples.
Cons: A bit finicky, requires some playing with. Does settle into lines (but I have yet to find one that doesn’t). Like all PM products, will work best with exfoliated and hydrated skin.
Summary: Just about perfect for me, but it took some work to find the right combo of products. There are definitely easier concealers to work with.

I’m another who actually really likes this.
I use “light” which appears to be…probably NC or just plain N. I prefer to dab gently on my skin using my fingertips (having applied primer first). I use my fingertips, dab it where it needs to go and set with MUFE’s high def powder. Sometimes I’ll use Pur’s bronzer or shimmer too (guess who bought a set of everything to try it out? That’d be me!) .
It takes me about a minute from applying moisturizer to bronzing it all up. If you’re more than a foot away from me you’ll be asking “Wait…is she wearing makeup?…nah, she can’t be….can she?!”
On my face, it lasts an easy 7 hours (when used with primer).
Pricing: . Many are cheaper, many are more expensive and this one falls just about slap bang in the middle at $170/ounce (give or take).
A very small pot will last me a year believe it or not, so when you’re considering cost think of how often you’re going to use it.
All in all, I’d purchase again – it’s not very often that I find something that fits my skin tone and shade and when I do find someting, I tend to hold onto it like a Mama Bear with her cubs (although my “cubs” have habit of “permanently borrowing” my stuff…I should work on that!).

This concealer is awful. It creases like crazy. It settles into fine lines and it doesn’t last either. By the noon it is all gone and you have to reapply even when setting it with powder.

Terrible!! Sits in your fine lines. Product came with “cease crease eye cream”…ugh!!!! I never new I had those lines when I put this product on. Don’t waste your money

Hated this concealer. It was too dry and stiff for delicate under eye skin, and I could never get it to look natural. I tried my fingers, a brush, a sponge. Ugh. It did not smooth out evenly. Even the hinge on the case broke! Returned it.

So I tried this product in store before buying so why a low rating? Lack of staying power! I was looking for something to replace Bobbi Brown Corrector and while testing this out in Ulta, I immediately noticed this concealer by Pur Minerals was a lot like the BB corrector but had better coverage. This is not considered a corrector but it is geared to cover dark circles. After testing this out for two days, I decided to return it. Even though it provides real good non-cakey coverage, it doesn’t last more than 2 hours! I look dead in no time and that is not acceptable in a concealer. The ingredients are kind of weird too because it contains shea butter (good for under the eye area only) but it also contains salicylic acid (good for blemishes only) so I really can’t use this on either area because it is both moisturizing AND drying lol. Shades run dark as well. I’m NC42 and usually wear medium in concealers. However, I was matched to Tan in this concealer in tan seems to have a strong orange tint to it and it makes my circles even more tired looking. Oh well, back to Bobbi Brown!
