My main issues with this concealer are the shade selection and coverage. I bought this in the palest shade and it’s still dark enough to give me extreme “raccoon eyes”. The coverage is lighter than most of my foundations, too. Veins and dark circles easily shined through this. The metal de-puffer aspect of it is useless to me as I don’t apply it to my eye area directly. Hollow undereyes are a bigger issue for me than puffy ones. But for those of you that do want to purchase this for that reason, go for it. My best advice would be store this in the fridge so it’ll be even more efficient.
Now there is something positive I will note on. I liked how hydrating the formula is. It didn’t emphasize lines and it actually added some moisture to my undereye area. My biggest issues with most concealers are they emphasize texture issues. This one did not. The moist formula makes it super easy to blend in. If you are darker than NC15 and don’t need much coverage, this concealer would be a great option.
I won’t repurchase.

Terrible. Thin formula with poor coverage doesn’t last. Applicator is cumbersome and gimmicky. Sometimes I use concealer as an eye shadow base, and this didn’t even last the day, let alone keep my shadow in place.
Only tried this because I ended up with it by accident. Otherwise, I categorically shun Cover Girl.

Didn’t work for me. Like the metal applicator, but the product is kind of runny and doesn’t sit on the skin well. Accentuates my pores and makes me look cakey. When I’m not sure if my skin is just too dry at that moment, or the other way round, if there is too much moisturizer on my face, I compare it with the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind on the other eye, which worked very well and made this de-puffer look very bad. Pass for me.

I bought this in the hopes of combining my garnier eye depuffer and under eye concealer. While the metal combined with the concealer felt great, and I did see a bit of reduction in puffiness, it gripped right on to any dry skin. I use it now as a depuffer, then wipe it off and put on a more effective concealer.

As I get older, I’m having a problem finding a concealer that doesn’t settle into and accentuate the lines around my eyes. This product doesn’t do that (at least for me). The applicator is difficult to master, but the trick is to squeeze out a very small amount, just a drop, and gently pat it on the dark circles with the applicator. Let it sit for a few seconds, then use your finger to gently pat it down. You can add a second layer if necessary. The coverage is fairly light, but at least it doesn’t make the lines look worse. It also doesn’t get into my eyes and burn like some other products.

Very hard to dispense from this tube with the product applicator. Either not enough- or way too much- product is squeezed out. Does not “depuff”, instead dries to a very dry finish which shows wrinkles more than ever, and then oxidizes darker than desired color. What a waste.

I find it unfortunate that it has so many bad reviews because I really like this product and I keep repurchasing it. I buy it in the shade 330. It has the perfect amount of coverage for my skin. I can apply just a little bit and i use my finger to spread it under my eye and on my cheeks. I have sensitive, uneven skin and this completely hides my red spots on my cheeks.
This item is part of my daily makeup routine and I can’t go without it. I then use a powder foundation on top of it to finish the look. It makes my skin completely even, very natural looking.
Other reviews did mention that it doesn’t have a lot of coverage… this can be true if you are looking for something more full… however, if, like me, you have skin that doesn’t need much coverage and more just something to help even your skin tone.. this is perfect. For me, it’s the perfect amount of coverage… more coverage than that and my skin looks fake !
CON : the price. It is a small packaging and I do find it expensive (around 14$ where I am). I personally wish it was under 10$… but it doesn’t stop me from repurchasing.
However, the product lasts a long time even if it’s small because it spreads really well !!

I dont understand the point of this prouct. Im not sure if it was just my local makeup store, but they only offered 3 shades. You really need to pack on the primer to get this thing to properly work. It is pretty oily and would crease throughout the day. I wouldnt recommend.

I received this product for free for review because I am a BzzAgent. The color I have is Fair 310, which is a perfect match for my very pale NC15 skintone. I am very pleased that the shades go as light as they do.
Claims: The CoverGirl+Olay concealer claims to diminish the look of puffy eyes and to cover dark circles. It also comes with a “cooling metal applicator” attached to the tube. I don’t have very dark circles under my eyes, although I definitely need concealer for a more rested and polished look. I also experience some morning puffiness, especially after staying up late the night before.
Application and Coverage: The concealer itself has a thin-ish liquid consistency. Product squeezes out of the tube easily and catches on the metal tip. I tried using the metal piece to smooth the product on, and I also tried using a concealer brush, but nothing worked as well as clean fingertips for blending. The product is extremely lightweight, so the chances of it creasing under the eyes is minimal. Unfortunately, the coverage that it offers is also quite minimal. Don’t expect this to be a full-coverage concealer, even after adding a second layer of product. CoverGirl+Olay concealer works best over a corrector or coupled with another concealing product applied over top. I find that the cooling tip works best for smoothing or tapping the fully concealed and blended undereye area, rather than for initial application.
Price: This product is listed at $13.99 on drugstore.com, which is a high price point for a drugstore concealer. I would prefer the tube to have a simple applicator tip and for the metal piece to be packaged separately with a reduction in price. That way, the metal piece can be purchased initially with “refills” of the concealer tubes. Currently there are high value coupons for $3.00 off the purchase price, which is a significant savings. If you are able to stack coupons with a sale, and if you prefer very lightweight concealers, this item may be a nice concealer to try.

I got this in Light Medium and it was a decent match for my NW 20-25 skintone. I’m 49, have the beginnings of fine lines and very dark circles under my eyes. My circles are really challenging to conceal and this product was much too thin in consistency and pigmentation to do an excellent job for me. On the plus side, I have sensitive eyes and this didn’t irritate them.
I normally color correct with Giorgio Armani correcter in orange and apply my concealer over that. Right now I like the Maybelline Age Rewind dark circle correcter, which I actually prefer over my high end concelers.
I think that if you need some light coverage or brightening that this would work for you. It has a bit of a pink tint which is good for brightening. The metal tip feels really nice and did help with depuffing, but it doesn’t work for applications as it just smears the product around. I still had to smooth it with my finger or beauty blender and then I set it with powder. This definitely needs setting powder since it doesn’t dry all the way down for me.
I don’t think that this is a horrible product, but it’s too lightweight for me and the price is crazy for the drugstore. The Age Rewind is much cheaper and does a fantastic job.
