This was another standard micellar water for me. Although it did remove light makeup, it struggled to remove heavier makeup and couldn’t remove waterproof mascara at all. I don’t think this worked as well as the L’Oreal micellar water (with the pink lid) or Bioderma either. One good thing is it didn’t break me out or make my skin react badly, but on the basis that I’ve used other micellar waters which are more effective, I wouldn’t repurchase this one.

Not what I was hoping for. I usually do oil cleansing, so I’m used to a product that melts my makeup and then you simply wipe it off. I thought this sounded even easier, but it’s definitely not. It takes a LOT of product to get all the makeup off and I don’t even use much makeup. I have to use 2 large pads and really work at it. It takes a lot of effort and scrubbing to get it all. Not a smart task for my sensitive skin. I also can’t leave the product on my skin as the label suggests. It actually BURNS if I don’t rinse it. I’ve tried a few other micellar waters and this one is pretty basic and ineffective.

I will NEVER BE without this now.
I like to alternate a sink cleanse, with a cleanse sitting in bed at night, to keep surprising my skin. Whether i’m cleansing in bed or not, this gets used. My routine is either:
sink wash: Origins cleansing oil, clinique extra mild liquid soap,. Then Simple micellar water boost, cetaphil lotion as an eye cream, and cortas rosewater to finish.
OR,
Olive oil to soften eye makeup, Garnier 2 in 1 makeup remover, Johnsons 5 in 1 wipes, simple micellar water boost, cetaphil on eyes, cortas rosewater
In the morning when I wake I apply a slick of oil around my eyes as an eye mask, and then tone the entire face with this and rosewater instead of washing my face in the shower – especially in winter.
I have tried every micellar out there and this is hands down the best ive used. No irritation at all to my sensitive skin. It leaves your skin comfortable and no tight feeling

I dont really have anything to compare it to because i haven’t used other waters, I’m very acne prone, everything breaks me out, so I tend to only stick with what I know.
This was the first micellar water I’ve ever tried, so I went in apprehensive. I patch tested it first with no problems so I began to use it as my main cleanser in the morning and my first cleanser in the evening, to take off the days grime before going in with my foam cleanser.
Its great, very gentle and soothing on my sensitive skin. Not a single break out or reaction and I’m on my third bottle. It does need to work a little hard to take off my water proof mascara, but it does the job and my cleanser gets the rest so all in all i’m satisfied.

Love this! I mainly like Bioderma and another really expensive Micellar Water for the face. I use Granier Blue Top to remove eye makeup. After not really liking the first Simple Micellar Water, for some reason the larger bottle of this caught my eye and I bought it and I am glad I did…. this is wonderful! It’s fast becoming my favorite toner for morning use. I use it all over on face and eyes as my morning cleanse. No irritation at all and it’s slightly moisturizing. I have sensitive, combo skin and I really recommend this.

Ok, now we’re talking. This is by far the most soothing, non irritating micellar water I’ve ever used. I used Bioderma religiously (I still use it for eye makeup only) but it started making my face beet red and super irritated ☹️ So I switched to Simple’s original micellar water which was much better but seemed to still slightly irritate my skin, but this new formula is AMAZING. Zero irritation and it makes my skin soooooo soft!
