Finally! I have combination skin with tendency for dry patches on my cheeks. I love the clean feeling with facial cleanser. I wear makeup everyday. I have tried mild cleanser which does not make my face feels clean and tends to not fully remove my makeup, and I’ve tried other stronger cleanser that makes my face feels super clean , which I really love, but exacerbates my dry patches .
However, this cleanser not only makes my face feels super clean, it removes all my makeup and makes my skin feels hydrated at the same time ! I think the price is reasonable. Personally I don’t like the packaging though. This is a winner and will repurchase!

To start off – I have a nut allergy and was not as careful about skincare/checking ingredients/patch testing when I originally bought this, so please don’t drag me too hard for being stupid about my use of this product and try to take this as a lesson in smart skincare from someone who effed up.
I bought this on the recommendation of my friend about two months ago, as I wanted a cleanser that was stronger. She gave it a rave review, so I understand that this might be a holy grail product for some. Unfortunately, this destroyed my skin. This is partially my fault, as I have a tree nut allergy and I used it without reading it had sweet almond oil in it. While that may be no problem for some with a similar allergy, I don’t usually go into any sort of anaphylactic shock when using certain nut based topical products, since I use products including shea butter daily, but I am especially sensitive to almonds and my skin reacted to my use of this product by breaking out terribly in patches of whiteheads. I am not exaggerating when I say my skin has literally never been worse – I looked like a topographical map!
Incidentally, I was going through a lot of stress and unusual circumstances right after I began to use this product, so it took me ages to put two and two together and realize my breakouts started cropping up RIGHT when I started using this. And though this is stupid, I didn’t realize how much a cleanser I washed off thoroughly could affect my skin. After 3 days of stopping usage, my skin is no longer red and inflamed looking, and my breakouts are slowly going away with my regular skin regimen.
Honestly, this cleanser is not that bad of a product, and I know many who love it. It is amazing at cleaning my makeup off and I usually only had to do a partial second wash at night. My skin didn’t feel either dry or oily after usage. Ignoring my worsening skin texture, it made the patches not affected by whiteheads look and feel thoroughly cleansed, and I believe that it probably works well for some people with regards to its intended purpose. However, as someone who has very sensitive skin that has a track record of reacting disastrously to certain oils, including the dreaded sweet almond oil, be careful with buying this. I really do not break out but this product gave me a month of skin nightmares that only stopping usage and liberal salicylic acid application could tame. I, understandably, will not be buying again, and I advise everyone to not get caught up in the Kiehl’s “clean and fresh” skincare gimmick (with their use of many comedogenic oils and… parabens?) without reading the ingredients and understanding what works for their own skin.

The Kiel cleanser is very gentle to my skin, and it is not drying out my skin as this can be a significant problem with most cleaners! I love using it while I’m in the shower as I just feel that this is the most convenient way for me to use it, haha. It cleanses my skin thoroughly, although if I’m wearing makeup, I make sure that I remove most of my makeup with makeup wipes and then use the cleanser afterward. 5Lipsticks 😀A

I love keeping my skincare routine simple enough that I stick to it. This cleanser is the perfect piece to that puzzle. Great “clean” feeling. Always takes off any extra makeup my makeup removed missed and all things considered it lasts — you just need a bit! I also have lash extensions and find this cleaner does NOT effect the adhesive (this one isn’t oil free but they make one that is in a blue package).

I have combinational skin, oily on T-zone and under eye area, easily clogged.
I do use a facial makeup remover before this cleanser, and I pair the cleanser with my foreo device.
everything was good: it’s not drying up my skin, my clogged pores reduced, very small amount needed to clean my whole face..
stopped using it because of the paraben

I was supposed to buy the Burt’s Bees Brightening Cleanser but it went out of stock. So I went to buy the Turmeric mask and also came across to this cleanser. So I also included this in my cart. Consistency is creamy and smooth to lather onto the skin. Cleansing is also good as it removed the mascara pretty well. Rinsing with tap water washes the suds and the grime easily. But what amazes me is the after effect, my face looks bright and fresh without the drying effect most cleansers leave on the skin. The ingredients are mostly plant-based so it’s safe on the skin. Im fickle minded but this cleanser will definitely stay in my bathroom.

This was very drying for my skin. I have combination/dry skin, and after a few days of using this cleanser I had visible dry flakes on my nose, which I have never experienced before. I can’t recommend this at all.

I like this cleanser a lot. It doesn’t dry out my skin, is quite gentle and effective.
This doesn’t break me out and it doesn’t have a strong scent which I like.
You only need a small amount so even the travel size (75 ml) tube lasts a pretty long time.
*Edit. I finally checked the ingredients on cosdna and decided I will not repurchase. It has some ingredients (SLS) which I want to avoid which could possibly dry out my skin in the long run.

This is like foamy silk. Removes makeup if you end up skipping your makeup remover. Doesn’t dry out my sensitive acne rosacea skin. Easy travel package. I am over the pumps now. Very concentrated so even though it is not inexpensive I can deal. I like it better than CeraVe or Cetafil and way better than Clinique Redness Solutions cleanser.

I like but do not love this product. I paid $17, which I think is a lot. I like that it foams/suds and is gentle, and it has lasted a long time. Not sure I would buy again due to cost. I am using Soap and Glory face wash more often these days, and I like it just as much — for less $$ and more product.
