I’ve used this in 2013 with no problems – it gives me smoother skin, tighter pores and a brighter look, but since last summer l had what l thought were terrible allergies; sneezing fits and very itchy eyes. Unfortunately l’ve just gone back to the cleanser and it’s playing havoc with my eyes, causing itching for half an hour and l use anti-itch moisturiser in my eyes to stop it. I don’t even use it round the eyes – l use a separate mup remover. I’d already worked out the sneezing was from this in the summer. So maybe try the 30ml size if you have bad allergies. I have never reacted like this to any skincare product before.

Love this face wash, it is one of my all time favourites for skin smoothness and radiance. I always get positive comments about the look of my skin when I use it. It feels and smells lovely when you use it too. It’s is gently resurfacing, so doesn’t feel harsh on skin. It can make your skin feel slightly tight after using which might be a problem for drier skin types. So use less often. I use it once a day and have no problems. Use daily spf too, as resurfacing ingredients can make skin more sensitive to sunlight and pigmentation which I found out. I will definitely be re-purchasing this

I bought this cleanser when I heard Victoria Beckham uses it, ha. I feel like she knows high-quality products! I really like this product. It leaves skin feeling clean but not overly stripped, and I’ve had fewer breakouts since using it. It’s gentle and good at getting the last remnants of eye makeup off. Very smooth & creamy formula.

Awesome cleanser! Never leaves the skin tight or dry doesn’t irritate the skin but gentle enough to go over the eyes to get any left over traces of makeup my oil cleanser left behind. Not really sure if it resurfaces because I do a lot of that on my own anyway and I really wouldn’t ever depend on the cleanser to do that job. My skins been glowier since using it so I guess I’ll keep it up!! A little goes a long way so you don’t blow through it.

This is another product that I find I always have to return to. The cold winter weather plays havoc on my skin and no matter how good the rest of my routine is my skin just looks dry and dull and sometimes flaky -yuk! This face wash puts a stop to all that. When I got it I used it twice a day in the evening as the secondary cleanser and as a single wash in the morning. By the end of that week my dry dull skin was no longer, I was looking at clear, smooth (not a flake in sight) glowing skin. My skin looks brand new again which is the whole purpose of the product to resurface the skin. Now my skin is back to normal I only use it in the morning as it is quite strong to continually use twice a day, well for me anyway.
How I use it in the morning is I apply it to my face before I even step into the shower, proceed to shower so that the product has been on my face for a good while, I do this with all of my morning cleansers and I find it very beneficial.
So the price then, at £29 for 200mls this not by any means a cheap product, I always buy the 400ml bottle from QVC at £40, no brainer really. However because it’s such a big bottle I use it on my body in the shower, it is great for smoothing the skin.
Nice pleasant scent, easy pump it’s a great product all round.

I was recommended this in a very public reception sales pitch following my try enzyme facial at the Elemis spa in London. I don’t know why they can’t just do the sales pitch in the privacy of your treatment room rather than in front of a room full of glamorous ladies who lunch awaiting treatment, but that’s another story…..I paid £30 for it, and left rather worried I had just been ripped off. A few days of using it and nothing had changed. Grand canyon pores, oily face, the lot. Determined to see my £30 through, I perservered and then all of a sudden after around 3 weeks my skin started to look fabulous! I am NOT using this as a secondary cleanser, just on its own it has single handedly straightened out my problematic skin to the extent I am actually getting compliments without make up! The product is great, I love the smart pump bottle, it smells classy and it really works, and it is now my HG product.

I received a full size bottle of this as a complimentary gift from Ideal Image. Like a lot of ladies said they did, I made the mistake at first of using it as a cleanser. Then I learned that you use this AFTER your cleanser and that’s when you really see the results. I LOVE this stuff! It leaves my face feeling AND looking great. It doesn’t dry it out and the bottle will last FOREVER. I only use one pump for each use, twice a day. I should also mention that it also smells really, really good. I honestly have no complaints about this whatsoever although the price is a bit much.

Pretty amazing. Everyone I need it I have to call and check because everywhere is usually fresh out. Works great, I’ve tried everything and this along with Arcona cleansing bars do the trick fort sometimes acne/combo skin. Love leemos

I use this product as a secondary cleanser following philosophy purity made simple cleanser. I love the way my skin feels smoother and has few breakouts when regularly using this product but for me it doesn’t clean my skin as effectively as I would like it to so would only use as a secondary cleanser.

For my skin type, I adore this product. My skin constantly has active breakouts, no matter how hard I try. It’s oily but dry occasionally and just generally a nightmare. I only use ‘higher end’ products, I’ve had awful experiences when I was younger with cheaper brands. I’ve used everything from Dermalogica to Neals Yard and I have not come across a face wash which makes this much difference, I do still get under skin blemishes. However, nothing at all compared to what I used to, with the right moisturiser (currently using Elemis Pro Radiance and Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Crème in the am and Elemis Lavender Skin Capsule at night, with my Chanel moisturiser on top, in the pm) and an occasional Elemis Cellular Skin Capsule my skin (minus the odd imperfection) is radiant. I highly recommend using the travel size first to see if you like.
