I received a deluxe sample of the Jinyulhyang Essential Foam cleanser from a shop and have been using this whenever I want to feel fancy in the mornings. With Dry/Dehydrated skin, I typically only cleanse at night and splash my face with water in the mornings.
This has the classic Whoo herbal scent, though different from the yellow In Yang line. I really need to figure out how to describe these different herbal scents. Again, Whoo tends to be more heavily perfumed than Sulwhasoo, which has a more natural scent. I’ve used this mainly in the mornings for a quick cleanse if I feel the need to and also tried it with my Clarisonic. This cleanser doesn’t foam up very much, with or without the Clarisonic. I found it works best with my Daiso Silicone Facial Cleansing Pad, the one that fits in the palm of your hand. It’s gentle and doesn’t leave your skin with that tight/squeaky clean feeling. Sometimes I enjoy the tight/squeaky clean feeling, but not every day. It doesn’t remove eye makeup very well on its own. Overall, I still prefer an oil cleanser to remove makeup at the end of the day, but I will continue to use this sample until I run out. Selling at $36/12 oz. on Amazon, I will pass on purchasing full sized version.

Good cleansing power. It feels luxurious as it’s foam is rich and creamy. I rate it as a 3 as the scent is way, overpowering. I had thought Christian Dior’s line were very scented but The History of Whoo’s foam cleanser’s scent is not natural and is too artificial for me to use on a daily basis.
