If you have sensitive skin, I advise against this.
After two uses, it looked like I aged 60 years from the dryness it caused. Acne is already setting in too 🙂 don’t do it.

This cleanser is ok. It does the job, but over time I am finding that it is too stripping of oil on my face. It’s a bit harsh. Oddly I find the anti-wrinkle cleanser to be more gentle and moisturizing, even though it has an acid in it. I don’t think I’ll repurchase this.

I have used this as my primary cleanser at night for about 3 yrs. It does reduce redness over time. I have rosacea on my cheeks/chin & this has never irritated my skin.
This cleanser is not foaming & is milky without feeling at all oily. The smell is neutral. I wet my face with water first, gently massage the cleanser in, then rinse well with lukewarm water & pat dry. It leaves my skin feeling balanced but still needing a light moisturizer.
When I wear mineral foundation, waterproof eyeliner or Revlon colorstay concealer I use Bioderma Sensibio micellar water first to remove my makeup. I then use this cleanser since I feel it is a treatment to calm my skin. I follow it with Derma E Sensitive Skin moisturizer. This along with adequate water intake & avoiding allergenic foods has helped to solve much of my skin problems. I now get compliments on my skin (at 50+)!

It’s a pretty basic, gentle pH-balanced cleanser that doesn’t dry out or irritate my skin. I no longer have redness on my face but I’m not sure if it’s due to this cleanser as I’m using other products that combat the redness as well. It is fragrance-free but has a pretty pleasant scent to it. Reminds me of bark. I think it’s a bit overpriced for a basic cleanser but it’s been hard to find a cleanser that’s gentle while not clogging my pores so I would probably stick with it.
Also, I feel like one pump dispenses too much product so I just press it down slightly to get a pea-sized amount.

Tried this product after reading the mostly favourable reviews on this site. Cleans very well but leaves my skin so dry and tight that I have to apply heavy duty hand cream to make my skin supple again.
Edit. Nov. 16, 2014: I mix a very small drop of EVOO with my Derma E pycnogenol moisturizer and my skin is so soft and supple! I used the hand cream (above) because I had nothing else (or thought so) at home to put back moisture in my skin.

This is a nice cleanser for those who don’t need a powerhouse of a face wash. It’s a milky liquid — when I first poured it out, it reminded me of the consistency of Cetaphil’s gentle cleanser. However, unlike that cleanser, this one spreads easily and feels soothing. I mix it with a little water and once I begin massaging it into my skin, I find it has a smooth texture with a good amount of slip.
It won’t foam up at all and I don’t think it would remove makeup (never tried), but it does a good job of getting rid of excess oil and any “grimy” feeling on your face. It rinses easily, and once I rinse and pat dry, my skin feels refreshed, but not stripped, dry, or tight. It just feels like comfortable, clean, natural skin.
I can’t speak much about the claims of reducing redness. My skin is chronically red and there is nothing I’ve ever found that completely relieves it. However, this cleanser did not exacerbate it like many do and instead left my skin feeling calm. So while it may not reduce redness, it certainly doesn’t make it worse, and those with perpetually red skin out there can attest that sometimes that is the best you can hope for.
I probably wouldn’t rely on this as my sole cleanser because as I said before, I don’t think it would remove makeup or sunscreen. But it’s a lovely cleanser for mornings or days when I haven’t put anything on my face. I would repurchase.

I absolutely love this cleanser! It feels soothing and gentle and removes all my make up if I use a washcloth with it. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fragrance free cleanser at a great price. I buy it from Wholefoods or Sprouts.

I bought this product because I was in search of a better facial cleanser then the one I was currently using. My skin gets really dry and irritated in the winter months and looks horrible. After using this for 4 days my skin improved 100% no more redness or dryness and it didn’t cause me to breakout either. love this stuff and it is so cheap too

I really like this product as a light cleanser for when I’m not wearing any face makeup (foundation, etc). It does remove eye makeup, especially if you were to follow up with a swipe of regular eye makeup remover to get everything.
My skin is very sensitive to cleansers and most make my skin really red with blotchy bumps (that look almost like hives). This is a really light, sensitive cleanser for when I want to clean my skin but not strip away all my natural oils.
(I can’t comment on the price because it was a gift)

Surprisingly, this removes eye makeup quite well. Mineral makeup, not so much. Very disappointing, I get better results with plain tap water.
