I have seborrheic dermatitis and using this soap with the help of my vitamin E cream has cleared up my face and gave me a radiant glow.

I’ve had this for years – and it’s a great sensitive skin all around gentle face cleanser. The bar is a bit annoying to deal with (to keep it clean) but I stored mine in a soap travel container so it wouldn’t get slimy (same for one in the shower).
I love that you can buy these in any drugstore and they are $3. If you are looking for a good face wash that won’t bother sensitive skin (with no scents either) this is a great one. I’ve used it on and off, whenever I want to switch my skin up with the seasons and my liquid face wash (acne.org) needs a break from my skin.

I have been looking for a facial cleanser that would be mild on my very sensitive skin but strong enough to clean my greasy, acne prone skin. Usually they don’t go together; cleansers are either too mild & leave my skin feeling dirty or they’re too harsh & make my skin red. This bar provides a super rich lather that can be used with my Foreo Luna Mini (on the lowest setting of course) & rids my skin of all oil while leaving my skin even toned instead of all patchy. For the price I think anyone with sensitive skin should give this a try since I find it to be extremely balancing. It doesn’t have any active ingredients to fight acne but I have found personally that a mild cleanser used with a topical leave on acne treatment is the best way to go for sensitivity.

AWESOME! Best bar of soap. It takes off my make up completely easily. Leaves NO Residue. Didn’t cause me dryness nor worsen my cystic pimples actually helped lessen them. I have sensitive skin, combination type. LOVE!

I used this for about a month and it dried my skin out really bad, made my eyes irritated, and cause bumps under the skin. Definitely not for my skin. I wouldn’t repurchase or recommend it.

I used this about for about a year. I also used the Basis wash that comes in the green tube. Loved both of them. I used them with a buff puff and thought they both did a great job cleansing my skin.
I have normal skin, no acne or sensitivity. These are inexpensive, decent drug store cleansers. Actually, I think the reason I stopped using the green Basis wash was because stores stopped carrying it. I recently saw it at Target after many years, (I think?), and was surprised. I’m happy with what I’m using now, but I may give it a spin again when I run out.
These can be drying. Never bothered me, as my moisturizer fixed that right up. Leaves zero residue.

I’ve used this on and off for about 5 years and it’s a good basic, inexpensive facial cleanser. Good for people who are breakout prone. The only thing I noticed is that I used it again recently and found it wasn’t so great at removing my foundation. I don’t remember if I had that problem in the past, since I’ve never been one to pre-cleanse my makeup off. I like a cleanser to just take it all off in one swipe since I use relatively full coverage foundation.
If you don’t wear as much foundation as I do then this is a good product for a good price and I recommend it.

No frills, fragrance-free body bar that doesn’t strip my skin and is fairly cheap. I like it because of its lack of fragrance and I happen to like bars better than body wash. I’ve used it on my face and have found its way too harsh, it literally will strip my facial skin. Works great in the shower though! Will re-purchase.

This bar of soap has some ingredients that are definitely not for people that have sensitive skin. Purpose soap is better….less ingredients!! This soap caused my dermatitis to worsen!!

I have used expensive cleaners from Boscia to Clnique and I always come back to my basis bar. Growing up I had severe eczema and remember how gentle and foamy this soap was on my body. So I thought I will use this as my face cleaner. What I love about this stuff is its inexpensive, hypoallergenic and lathers up well. It doesnt dry out my skin at all and a bar could last you about a month maybe longer. I will repurchase this stuff again & again.
