After trying tiny sample bottles of this, I finally bought the big bottle with the 30% off Christmas sale. I don’t use this to remove a full face of make up but it’s one of my favorite cleansers for any other situation. It has a great smell that disappears after you rinse. It’s extremely concentrated so you only need a drop or two. It’s good for a morning cleansing or evening cleansing after first removing your make up with a wipe or a balm

Purchased this cleansing gel along with Boscia’s Clear Skin cleanser and used one for AM and for PM for several months cuz they last forever. Then for about a month, I used only one each per day for a few weeks. Boscia performed better but this gel was gentle and did a decent job of cleansing my skin though I’d probably only use with another cleanser if I repurchased. It doesn’t feel like it removes makeup that well or leave my skin feeling really clean. No irritation or break outs though so that’s great.

Purchased this to try a cleansing gel and will Not repurchase. This does Not get off all the make up so I follow up with witch hazel on a cotton pad. Also its very drying and not great for sensitive skin.Thank goodness I only bought the small travel size. My sensitive skin Dove soap has worked better. My hunt persist for a make up cleansing gel.The pump and mild lavender smell are the only pros.

I received this as a sample in my Play! box. While washing, I felt like I could not remove the oily microfilm it left on my skin, so I would have to use Origins Checks and Balances to truly cleanse my face. This also broke me out horribly — as in multiple cystic pimps all over.

I tried this first as a deluxe sample that came in a beauty box. I wasn’t at all expecting to care, let alone go out and buy it. I never get excited about skin care, especially cleansers, as I don’t really switch up my skin care. (I want to see makeup in my beauty boxes, but I digress.) But I really, really like this. It’s gentle yet thorough, doesn’t leave my face in the least tight or feeling stripped, rinses easily and doesn’t leave any type of film on my face, and doesn’t have much of a scent. It just smells mildly fresh to me. I think the price is high, but I use such a tiny amount of this that I think this bottle is going to last a year. Just the deluxe sample lasted me many uses. My favorite way to use it has been with the facial cleansing sponge from Real Techniques, which I use gently. Then I just splash rinse my face. I will have to see how it works in the winter, when things change and everything gets so dry. It’s possible I will have to put it aside for a few months, but I’m not anticipating that, because it just doesn’t feel stripping at all.
For reference, my skin is combination. I have a fairly oily t-zone. I use Retin-A both for aging and for acne. Because of the Retin-A I have to be careful not to use anything too harsh. I still use Cerave cleanser for dry skin in the morning, because it works and the bottle is big and cheap and I don’t worry about leaving it in the shower.

I had quite a different experience with this cleanser than other reviewers. First off, this cleansing gel has a GORGEOUS, calming lavender scent that kept me coming back to it, so I’m not sure why others are saying it has no scent?
The gel has a nice, light texture and it gently cleanses my skin, leaving it feeling soft and never stripped. No sticky film or residue.
So why the low rating, you ask? Because it breaks me out BIG time! I didn’t realize this gel was the culprit for months, until I finally took a look at the ingredients and there it is: coconut oil. I had never thought to look at the ingredients before, since the gel is so gentle and is marketed as hypoallergenic. Coconut oil is the devil (to my skin, anyways) and gives me huge, painful, bumpy acne. I stopped using this cleansing gel the moment I found out it contained coconut oil, and surprise! My acne cleared up almost immediately.
Although other reviewers are saying that this cleanser did not cause them acne, I felt the need to write my review in case I can help prevent someone else from having to experience painful acne!

I got a deluxe sample of this in a skin care set. It’s a really lovely and gentle formula that takes off your makeup really well. I’d say it’s perfect for sensitive skin. I have acne prone, combo skin and had no issues.
The only thing that sucks is the price, which will deter me from repurchasing. I love the pump on the bottle and wish that the sample had better packing, too.

I bought the trial set that comes with this cleanser and OMG I think I’m in love! It removes make-up and leaves my skin feeling clean & baby soft. I am always skeptical about cleansers being too harsh on my sensitive skin (I breakout easily) but this one has managed to calm my skin, so much so that I attempted to use it for my back acne as well and it has helped cleared those up quite a bit. I’ve just placed order for 2 super size bottles and I can’t wait to continue using it.

So I’ve used this one for over a year and it has lasted a year. Usually once my cleanser is used up I move on to another product; however, I am really impressed with this one and will continue to purchase this one. I am prone to breaking out but this one does not break me out. It cleanses well, and keeps the skin hydrated. Great for use in the winter and summer months. Typically I have to change my cleanser based on the temperature outdoors, but I do not with this one. All I can say is this cleanser is amazing and it lasts a long time. They have a jumbo size if your family would like to use it too.

This is a vegan friendly facial cleanser. At $25 for a 150ml bottle, it is pretty pricey. I have mixed feelings about it, however.
On the positive side: it doesn’t really have a smell; it cleans really well without stripping the skin; it takes off the makeup pretty well; the pump is convenient.
On the negative side: it doesn’t leave the skin “squeaky clean”, in fact, it leaves an oily film on the skin. It absorbs into the skin pretty quickly, but it is a weird sensation nonetheless.
Overall, it is a pretty decent cleanser, but nothing spectacular. The quality of the product definitely doesn’t justify the price.
