I was initially skeptical about this cleanser, having always used liquids that lathered up. But not only did it work exceptionally well, it was fun to use. The little kid in me couldn’t help playing with the mousse, but the entertainment factor aside, this stuff is great! It is gentle enough for my sometimes sensitive skin and rinses off completely in seconds. I’m not sure if it “refines” pores, but I have noticed I have fewer blackheads and less frequent breakouts. The reasons I didn’t give a full rating are the propellant sometimes runs out, making it impossible to use the remaining product, and it is risky to take traveling. I don’t use it exclusively, but alternate with other cleansers, most of them Olay. I love that it is so inexpensive, and have used four of them in the past year.

I cant understand the bad reviews on this product! I got it for £1.00 in a discount store and fell in love with it! I went back and bought 6 back ups!
Its consitency is creamy foamy with tiny crystals that exfoliate your face gentle (not big enough for a hard exfoliate session like with apricot scrub etc) but gentle enough for daily use. It leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft and clean and perfect for make up application. Only 4 lippies as i find the packaging quite tacky (purple and blue ?!) and would have preferred the normal black and white olay packaging
, or one that fits around a match and would definitely have replaced it. Another complaint is the rose is solid but it is nice white when dew stands up. So, its never under pressure, the rose does not shatter, but if you had it into a sphere, wouldn’t it make a large effect on your makeup and make a big difference on your skin tone? Any chance of lighter blue? Cheers!

DON”T BUY THIS! I bought it on clearance at a supermarket for $5, was intrigued by the foaming micro-crystals. I wear contacts and when I washed my face with this, even after rinsing thouroughly, a couple of the “crystals” must having gotten in my eye because I woke up with pink eye the next morning! My bargain was not one after a $10 prescription for conjuctavitis and not to mention having to replace my eye cosmetics and contacts! Horrible product, discontinued thankfully but if you come across it don’t purchase!

I purchased this at Safeway of all places on clearance for $5.00. I’ve always liked Olay products so I thought I’d give this a try and unfortunately I’m not crazy about it. I find the scent strong and the combo of foam and “micro-crystals” strange. It doesn’t seem to clean very well and I would definitely not repurchase at any price.

Picked this up at Shopper’s for $2 CAD on clearance (regularly 12.99).
I just moved home after exams, but haven’t brought everything back from university–Including many of the toiletries I forgot, so I need a cleanser.
For it’s clearance price it was cheaper than all those cheap crapy travel sized cleansers at the drugstore.
The foaming action is kinda neat, but like other reviewer’s noted, it does leave your skin somewhat stripped.

Got this on clearance for about 5 bucks the foam was fun have to be careful with it tho it comes out fast. Feels gentle on my skin and the mircobeads wash off easily. It leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed. Definitely buying it again

I don’t really know what to make of this cleanser. I won’t be buying it again. i found that i would end up using another cleanser right after this one because my face just never felt clean enough. i guess the foam is fun. i never managed to get used to the scent though. really don’t like it. it smells like a strong perfume with some strawberry. there are also tiny little beads which should have made it a scrub. as for my pores…i can no longer see them but im giving the credit to my Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner and HG DDF brightening cleanser. isn’t the worst cleanser but like i said, i won’t be spending another $13 CAD on this stuff.
