This is a pearly white cleansing milk in a squeeze bottle. Despite the name, it does not lather. It’s creamy and quickly dissolves dirt and makeup. I use it at night with a nubby washcloth. I follow with his glycolic toner.
This cleanser cleans beautifully without stripping my skin. There is a barely perceptible orange scent.
I have mature skin.

Not for me. Barely removes my makeup & doesn’t even smell like oranges. It also leaves a weird feeling on my skin after I use it. I love a lot of other Mario products.. but not this one.

My quest to find a cream cleanser that doesn’t leave my skin tight or break me out is over! I was recovering from a horrible reaction to Neutrogena’s cream cleanser when I stumbled on the review for this product. I recently started using MB’s products – mainly the topical blemish treatments (Buffering Lotion and Drying Lotion) and was impressed by how effective they were on my blemishes – so I figured this product shouldn’t be a total let down. I was right! It’s far from a total let down! It’s creamy, does not lather (YAY!!), has a very, very faint scent to it (not citrus despite the name) as well as a luminosity to the product. I double cleanse on those days when I wear makeup because I have no expectation that this cleanser will remove it. I start with my Clinique cleansing balm then follow up with the MB cleanser using my Mia2. My skin is clean, not tight, and calm. It’s been well over a week and I haven’t had any breakouts or adverse reactions to this cleanser. That makes it a keeper. After reading some of the reviews, I have to say, this product is not meant to remove makeup. The product does not claim to be a makeup remover.

I didn’t really care for this product… I have combo /dry skin but this, did nothing for me. I am a daily makeup wearer and although it cleansed ok… I felt like there was a film left on my skin. I could be bias bc I am used to a foaming cleanser and this doesn’t do that but I really felt this just didn’t do the trick… This may he more suitable for someone with real sensitive skin who doesn’t wear makeup daily

Firstly, I don’t wear a lot a makeup. just a little touch of primer, foundation and a little concealer. This product did not remove most of this with the exception of my mascara. It also left a film on my face. I would not recommend. I’m returning it to search for something that will actually remove makeup and get my skin clean.

I love the idea that this cleanser is creamy, thick and gentle. Does not dry out your skin. However, this cleanser does not remove face makeup very well. This may be a good cleanser to use in the morning on makeup free skin. I think I will repurchase and use it only in the morning or on days when I’m not wearing makeup. As for the packaging, I wish it had a pump instead of a squirt bottle. Packaging is simple so that keeps the cost down.

For reference, I have dehydrated normal acne-prone skin and use a water-resistant sunscreen.
I have a sample of this which I have tried several times and it is utterly useless. I’m not asking for it to remove layers of sunscreen, primer, foundation, blush, etc. I just want it to remove one layer of sunscreen and it can’t even do that. It just sort of sits on my skin and refuses to rinse off cleanly. I had to use another face wash to get it off on multiple occasions, and I have tossed the rest of my sample. I can’t imagine a worst cleanser for me.

Super bummed that I didn’t like this cleanser! I’m a huge Mario Badescu fan and after reading the reviews for it I figured I’d love this as well. I do like the smell, the packaging, the fact that it is a cream cleanser and super gentle. But I found that it didn’t remove my makeup at all. Even after using my usual cleansing oil before hand. And I didn’t feel like it really cleaned my skin very well. I have very dry skin so I usually always use a cream cleanser (I LOVE the Garnier cream cleanser) but this one just didn’t do it for me. Unfortunately I won’t be repurchasing.

I loved this facial cleanser. Smelled like an organic orange cream sickle if that makes sense. It was so nice and thick. My skin felt amazing. Liked this one much better than the strawberry face scrub. I really loved the smell.

I used to use MB seaweed cleanser — loved the smell but found that it didn’t remove all my makeup despite its claims.
I started using the orange cleansing soap and will not go back.
It removes my makeup *even my super waterproof mascara*
It’s gentle.
I definitely agree with one reviewer about it smelling faintly crayon like — it reminds me of a cross between a creamsicle and a crayon for sure.
But it’s gentle, effective and really reasonably priced.
