I used this cleanser last night and my skin was fine. So I wake up that morning to a face that looked like I had a heat rash all over it. I should have knew not to use this based on the smell but was mislead by the natural ingredients which are not so natural. I will be taking this back to Target tonight!!

I think this wash just makes my skin even worse. It feels really nice while on skin but the day after the skin is so damn dry even while using tjock moistruizer. My skin pretty much ”peels off” in some areas and Im pretty sure this is the reason for it. Normally my skin is quite normal/combo but now its like he freaking dessert. Will not repurchase. Only good thing is that it was ”cheap” though expensive due to the fact it destroyed my face :))

This facewash is really bad. Made my skin really dry and tight. When I smile or talk I can literally feel my skin stretching and I have never had such a problem before using this. After washing the face and drying my face I could feel like a film covering on my face. I don’t recommend this product at all. It’s TRASH.

I like most of the products I have tried from the simple brand but this cleanser I did not like, it’s supposed to be moisturizing but it is not, infact it dried my skin out making it feel tight and itchy, it has sls in it which I think encourages redness in my skin. I would not buy it again

it cleanses face well, must apply on wet skin to foam well, I lather it on my hands first , easier, but honestly, I recommend using a tiny amount, even then, even that I have oily combo skin, I’m suspecting it’s making my skin dry and have flaky patches. I’m not really sure if this product is doing this but I highly suspect it.
also it claims to moisturize, no dice.
good packaging and good price though, good amount,150 ml is a lot of amount and a little goes a long way.
I will probably declutter this and get something gentler, we’ll see. I will probably get something for sensitive oily skin. I actually still like this brand though because of another product that I liked

Terrible face wash. Please don’t be misled by the soap free label. It has SLS which is extremely damaging to skin. So stay away if you have sensitive skin. It caused redness and flakiness on my forehead and my eyelids’ skin started peeling…as in peeling in chunks. Also I would wake up in the morning with dry tight skin. I’ve changed over to Payot No.2 miscellar cleanser for sensitive and intolerant skin and it’s been great at healing the damage.

Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash is a basic, no frills, gentle and 100% soap free foaming gel cleanser that is suitable for all skin types except the very dry. The packaging is a basic tube with a flip top lid, the gel cleanser is easy to dispense onto the fingertips and create a generous foaming lather with water. The scent is refreshing and certainly not over perfumed and is indeed relaxing and just smells like CLEAN. This cleanser can remove a full face of makeup on it’s own or as part of a double cleansing method as SIMPLE now does also sell a cleansing oil that emulsifies.
I turn to this cleanser as a staple in my cabinet as it represents the basic, inexpensive but effective good quality products that the industry can produce when it wants to. There is absolutely no need to purchase an expensive cleanser, in the words of Paula Begoun “Expensive water soluble cleansers are truly a waste of money”. There are only so many ingredients that can remove make-up, oil and grime and the gentle surfactants in this formula can do all of that just beautifully and without irritation and for a foaming cleanser (soap free) doesn’t leave the skin gagging for moisture.
Use this generously over face, eyes and throat and simply rinse off with plenty of water, repeat for double clean benefits.
This is a great cleanser for men who want a simple cleanser they can use at the shower, whether at home, travelling or in the gym showers
It is also comes at an affordable price that most will appreciate, remember a cleanser is a cleanser is a cleanser. A cleanser is only on your skin for a minute or less and then it is quickly rinsed down the drain, any miraculous benefit cleansers claim to do is simply not on the skin long enough to make a visible difference. So all those beneficial ingredients they like to pack the formula with to make it look like your getting something special or unique simply cannot be effective considering the brief process that is cleansing. All a good cleanser should do, regardless of the type of cleanser is remove the day’s grime, sunscreen, oil, dirt and stale make-up without irritation, and without leaving you dry or greasy, it also should rinse completely and not leave behind a residue that can affect the performance of your toners, serums, exfoliants and moisturisers applied afterwards.
A cleanser I will definitely be recommending to family and friends and returning to again and again.
SIMPLE is best!

Cheap. Generally kept my skin clear of spots (and I have oily skin). Did have to use masks and stuff to deal with my pores though. Lasted me 4 months +. I did end up having dry skin some of the time.

If I didn’t know better, I would think that Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash was Olay Gentle Clean Foaming Cleanser in a different package. Since Olay is P&G and Simple is Unilever, I doubt they are exactly the same, but performance was extremely close between the two. Like the Olay, Simple is very basic–a non-fussy liquid pearlescent soap that foams with the addition of water, and does not contain any fragrances or dyes. To say the Simple product is moisturizing is misleading. I found it to be somewhat drying, like all other foaming detergents. But I also found it was pretty good for my sensitive skin–in other words, using it judiciously did not cause or increase irritation. It also worked quite well at lifting sebum and dirt. I would repurchase if I was unable to find my preferred options.

Simple skincare range is generally hit or miss for me. I’ve never used anything from them that has wowed me tbh.
I saw this for ridiculously cheap and thought “how bad can this truly be?!” WELL……
This is HORRIBLE! One of the worst cleansers I’ve ever used. Initially, it felt pretty good as I massaged it onto my face. Nice, creamy/ gel texture and foamed up satisfactorily.
After I rinsed it off, my face felt soo tight, like it was gonna crack! Then, my face went really red, angry and quite sore. Apparently I had just unleashed the flames of HELL onto my skin!! Absolutely awful. Needless to say I tossed this is the trash and bought a calming cleanser.
It took 2 weeks for my skin to recover from using this abomination.
I don’t have particularly sensitive, problematic or extremely dry skin so please be warned if you do. Simple wtf are you doing with this? Read customer reviews and change the formula.
If you want your face to feel like the burning pits of hell, this definitely is your best bet lol.
