I actually love this cleanser. When I’m feeling oily or if I need to wash my face after a good workout, this is my go to. It leaves skin feeling clean, soft, and refreshed without over drying, which not all cleansers can boast. It is also mattifying, which is great because some days you just want a fresh clean matte face as your blank canvas. Furthermore, it has never broken me out, but be sure to check that it is not leaving traces of foundation behind on your skin. Sometimes when people claim a cleanser has broken them out, it’s partially because the cleanser left hidden dirt and oil behind. Honestly this cleanser cut through my makeup, even on days I didn’t use removing wipes or a cleansing oil, but I did have to use it twice. Because I have an oily t-zone, I will never not have a bottle of this lying around, though I think MAC has changed the packing to a tube now.

This was my cleanser for about a year (one bottle lasted me that long using it daily morning & night). It’s a mediocre product, it cleanses well, isn’t too drying for my normal skin type and did its job.
The problem is more with the packaging it was in before they changed it from 150ml to 100ml (which makes it a total rip off in my opinion, and I’m someone who likes spending money for fancy stuff, even if you could get something similar at the drugstore), it’s not that great in my opinion. Once you use up more than 3/4th of the bottle you have to hold it upside down and wait and squeeze the hard plastic for anything to come out and you always get either too little or too much, I think you could expect something a little better for 23€.
The smell of the cleanser (it’s fragrance free but still has a semi-strong scent to it) wasn’t very nice. It smells like raw bread dough (wasn’t expired), which is not something I want to be smelling when trying to feel cleansed.
I prefer the Chanel one that I’m using at the moment, the product itself is similar but the whole ‘experience’ of using it is 100x nicer.

Very fresh feeling and left my face so smooth. My skin glows using this. Helps a part with my acne. The price is a little high but worth it. It last me a long time. Would repurchase again. I like to use it at night because I feel this gets everything, dirt, oil, any stuff out there off my skin. Great product overall.

Don’t hesitate to buy it if you are in need of a good, simple cleanser that can remove makeup. You can’t go wrong with this. Fresh and delicate scent. Leaves your skin ver clean and refreshed.

best cleanser by far. I think I have been living in a cave

This is one of those rare products that broke me out immediately after the first use. Already I didn’t like how the product felt on my skin and the film it left after rinsing off. My skin felt tight and dry, and the next day I broke out. Will never buy again.

Ok, Starters, I have dry surface, normal under. So I really don’t have acne problems. I do have sensitive skin and roscea. So a mild glycolic wash helps exfoliate and tighten my skin, without irritating.
The cool gel of MAC feels amazing. I leave it on for 10 seconds, wash off. It barely lathers, which I like. I prefer more gel than lather.
Overall, my all time favorite was a blue gel wash Physicians Formula (think that was the name) made, but could never find again.
Would buy again and recommend

It is a good cleanser but does nothing special and, therefore, isn’t worth the money. I have sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin and it doesn’t break me out, but I also feel like it didn’t remove all my make up and dirt. I normally use a make-up remover beforehand, but still feel it could do more. It’s not oily though, and does not dry out my skin during winter or when I’m heavy on the acne lotions – dry patches. Drugstore brands could do the same, only way cheaper.

I used this product off and on a few years ago. I found this product through watching xSparkage’s videos on skincare, and she recommended this for oily skin. Personally, I found this product doing nothing special for my skin. No pros, no cons. It was like washing my face with a very basic liquid soap, almost like a hand soap. My skin is very oily, yet sensitive, but this did not dry my skin out or irritate it. I used this as a morning face wash and on days when I wasn’t wearing any makeup, as I don’t see this removing makeup well. I’ve gone through a few bottles, but I just don’t see the benefits, so I can’t justify buying this again.

This is too harsh for me I guess, my skin gets all red and itchy after using this 🙁
