I just have to sing my praises over this product. It’s the one thing I absolutely need for my skincare regimen and I am shocked there aren’t other reviews on this site!
As someone with dry, sensitive skin that only needs some gentle help with cleansing away the dirt of the day, this has been a godsend of a cleanser. It has a thin, slippery consistency that lathers beautifully with a quick rub between your palms, giving off a subtly sweet and earthy scent. It slides off mascara and foundation with relative ease, but since it is so gentle, I typically like to use my favorite cleansing wipe beforehand to be on the safe side. I use stubborn products.
Australian Wild Plum & Willow is advertised as being formulated for oily skin, but I can attest to it being gentle enough to use on mine with no problems.
It doesn’t sting the eyes much and is incredibly gentle on the skin. It evens out my skin tone, reduces redness and refines the bumpy texture I tend to get on my cheeks. It smells wonderful, is free of parabens, and is full of beneficial botanical oils and extracts. I’m always left with soft, clean skin with no lingering scent, film, or an unpleasant feeling of tightness.
Yes, it’s a little more on the expensive side, but I’m happy to pay the price for what I’m getting. It’s a gorgeous product.
