Decent cleanser. No major wow factor but it didn’t break me out or irritate my skin or have an annoying scent. It was gentle, rinsed well but I just look for some sort of result driven reason to buy any product more than once. Plus, I can only get this online which is an annoyance. Won’t buy again.

Even though this cleanser kept me face much more shine free throughout the day, it broke me out terribly. I gave it to my sister and she gave it back because it broke her out in painful swollen pimples as well. We are now sending it to our cousin.

This cleanser is way too harsh for my super clog-prone, oily, sensitive, slightly dehydrated skin. The high amount of sodium laureth sulfate is bad for both acne and sensitivity. After using it for a couple weeks, my skin was extremely dehydrated. The price is only justifiable if you are able to get it from SalonCentric or at a discount at a Cosmetology school. I love the pretty glass bottle though.

I bought this from Salon Centric because this cleanser gets impressive reviews and I was looking for a face wash that would leave my skin clean, clear, and “decongested”. This definitely left my skin squeaky clean, but to the point of being extremely irritated as well. Also, the pump’s a bit of a pain. I passed it off to my boyfriend because he’s a fan of products that leave his skin feeling stripped. (Although lately, I’ve been sneaking a few gentler products into his bathroom – I want us BOTH to have nice skin for as many decades as possible!)
Ingredients: Water, sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, lauramide dea, sodium chloride, lavender oil, sage oil, clary sage oil, petitgrain cordillera oil, neroli oil, lavendin oil, panax ginseng root extract, sumac extract, gotu kola extract, dong quai root extract, watercress extract, phenoxyethanol, disodium edta, diazolidinyl urea/iodopropynyl butylcarbamate

I find this cleanser is very drying for my skin in winter, but for summer it is ok and works well. It is expensive, especially in New Zealand it is double the price that in USA (I am not sure why??) This cleanser can really deep cleanse my skin, and I love the smell like the Chinese herbal. One thing I don’t like is the packaging, the pump is a great idea, BUT the white cap keep coming off when I twist the lid to left/right to open/close. Similar to my other Bioelements sensitive cleanser, the cleansing oil keep leaking from the junction between the white cap and the lower part, at first I thought I didn’t close it properly. But even I make sure I closed it properly, one time I was traveling and almost 1/3 of the oil leaked out in my bag. I was so sad! I mean it is not a cheap product you know. Seriously they need to get a better pump to make it perfect.

i really love this face wash. i pick it up at salon centric, witch is a discount beauty store for students and professionals so i paid 20 bucks for it. my skin is combo to oily and this has really done wonders for oil control and cearing out my pores. i wish i did more for breakouts but thats not what it does so i cant fault it for that. bioelements spotless cleanser is the best for acne. this lathers well and leaves my skin clean, fresh and my pores are much smaller then before i started useing this. will be rebuying forsure! if you can splurge, i would go for it. its really worth it

I’ve come to a point where I can’t live without this cleanser!!! I started using it for esthetics school, just to try out the bioelements line, and LO AND BEHOLD…it cleared up my acne! I was so happy, and I’ve been using it for over a year now. I would recommend it to anyone struggling with acne, blackheads, too much sebum (oil), or people who sweat a lot. I will admit that there are products in the bioelements line that i wouldn’t use again, but I will probably climb through fire to save a bottle of this cleanser.

I hated this cleanser. It does not leave a very clean feeling and it obviously doesn’t do anything because I used a cotton ball after my Equalizer pump broke and I couldn’t believe all the dirt that was on it. Yes I used an adequate amount and I wasn’t even wearing makeup that day, I was just a little sweaty from cleaning around the house (not drenched either). As you will see from my other reviews, I think the Bioelements line is overpriced and worthless. Plus as time passes with using this, the once fresh and clean smell turns nauseating.

I have the kind of fair, sensitive skin that temporarily reddens deeply after washing my face. The water temperature doesn’t seem to matter. I just get tomato red for 10 mins. or so. I have combo n/o skin, too, so finding non-irritating cleansers is always a quest for me. A literal money-down-the-drain quest, I may add. I usually wind up relying on glycerine+a little liquid soap+a little honey – which works well enough, but it’s really not convenient.

Enter Bioelements Decongestant Cleanser: my skin loves this foaming gel wash which actually cleans well while soothing my skin. This is my HG cleanser, even though it seems to be marketed to people with more oily skin than mine. I have been looking for this for 20 years. Eureka!

Great for sensitive skin.
With many cleansers, my skin cannot stand many cleansers… after cleansing, my face will start to sting when I put on moisturizer. But then I cannot stand cleansers made for sensitive skin as they never leave me feeling quite clean. Sensitive skin cleansers tend to leave a residue, a feeling like you haven’t quite washed off all the soap. Then, the soothing ingredients would build up on my face and cause acne.
But not to fret!! This cleanser from Bioelements is wonderful for sensitive skin. It feels like a gentle cleanser, not necessarily leaving the squeeky clean feeling since it doesn’t strip your face of all natural oils.
It takes on make-up almost miraculously. With most cleansers, I’d have to rub down on the makeup to have it wash off. But with bioelements, a few strokes will melt all that make-up away. Yet, it isn’t so strong that it irritates.
I was introduced to this a few years ago when I received a facial from the Burke Williams spa. Used a bottle, then spent aimless years trying dozens and dozens of different cleansers since this is not sold in most department stores. A few months ago, I found it only for about $21 a bottle and am happy once again!!
