I really like this cleanser. Most face washes dry my skin out and leave it flaky and unmanageable but this does the job without causing adverse effects and the price is great too.

I picked this up on clearance for $2, so can’t really beat that price. It’s a good cleanser that leaves my face feeling soft and smooth. It’s not very moisturizing, so you’ll want to follow up right away with your moisturizer. However, I won’t buy it again because I’m not a fan of the smell. It’s not a strong smell, but it’s not something I look forward to. I can only describe it as lightly floral.. like the generic shampoo minis you might find in a hotel. I like the smell of my St. Ives cleansing sticks and green tea scrub a lot more.

Okay, this cleanser is amazing. It gets all the junk off of my face without stripping it. It feels very lux and the packaging is elegant and easy to use.

I have it 4 Lippies instead of 5 because of the smell. It’s not bad it’s just a big strong for my personal liking. Other than that I really like it. It’s super basic and not harsh on my dry sensitive skin. The price was good I paid like $6 at Target. Will buy again and would recommend to my friends.

The cleanser I have is called the daily cleanser, but it’s not the one pictured here. It’s white packaging with a splash of water on it. It’s also 5 fl oz.
This is a cruelty free and cheaper alternative to Simple’s moisturizing face wash. Both have similar ingredients and are gel to foam cleansers. Simple has a light and airy foam and is fragrance free. It does have sodium laureth sulfate in it. Elf does not and therefore has a creamier lather. It does have a light fragrance. It reminds me of clean laundry. The scent is really light and does not irritate me. I can be sensitive to scents. This product works well with my clarisonic and has become my new HG cleanser since going cruelty free. Elf is also less expensive. At target simple is $4.79 and elf is $4.00 for the same amount of product. Definitely worth trying!

This is an inexpensive face cleanser – it doesn’t foam a lot but it’s not thick and lotiony, either; good for normal skin, I would say. It has a noticeable fragrance, which is what is keeping me from giving it 5 stars. Overall this is a very basic, cheap cleanser that does a good job of cleaning the face without stripping, for my normal-to-oily skin.

This cleanser works well to remove makeup, but I found it to be very drying. I have combo skin, and while it can be sensitive and picky, most cleansers usually don’t do much to upset it. After using this exclusively at night for about two weeks I noticed a significant change in the moisture levels of my skin, even with a skincare routine that focuses on replenishing moisture. It has no scent and foams up nicely, and again it does really cleanse the skin and remove makeup, but for me it is just too harsh. If you have skin that tends to be very oily you may enjoy this, but for those of us with combo or dry skin it should probably be avoided, especially for daily or very frequent use.

This is a decent cleanser when used in the shower for just a basic cleansing. Does not remove my makeup when used alone so i usually just use it to cleanse my skin in the morning while I shower. Love the packaging. There is something so chic and luxurious about the color of it

This cleanser is just ok in my opinion. I typically used it in the shower in the morning, not for trying to remove make up so I’m not sure how it performs there. It’s not drying or stripping. I didn’t like the consistency very much. It’s runny and usually too much comes out of the tube…I finally figured out to turn it up when opening so I didn’t lose a lot of it. It’s also sort of slippery and never lathered up like I expected, though it’s not a gel cleanser. Overall it was fine, but I think there are better cleansers out there!

I’ve been wanting to try this cleanser but have sensitive skin which is why I’ve been holding back; however, upon seeing the reviews on here from sensitive skin folks – I’m thinking about trying it.
HOWEVER – I’d like to point out that this is NOT a cheap cleanser, especially if it is a “basic” all around cleanser. This is only 3.71 ounces – for $4. That’s $1.07 per ounce.
If you are looking for just a basic nice cleanser, you can get one (purpose brand) for $4.69 for SIX OUNCES (so twice the amount of product). That’s $0.78 per ounce. Same for another common basic cleanser (cereve) your get 12 ounces for $8. $0.66 per ounce. My current cleanser is $0.68 an ounce. The price per ounce is much more expensive for this ELF cleanser compared to all others, which is why I haven’t bought it.
Just something to be aware of.
