Bought this in the new holographic minimalist packaging. They changed the formula to allow the product to clump less and melt more into the face when u massage onto dry face. It immediately turns from a solid sorbet to an oil emulsion and melts away tough makeup like eyeliner, mascara. Not harsh on the face. Sometimes it gets into my eye and stings abit, but im still not complaining.

God, I love this cleanser. I was using a cheap-but-pretty-good superdrug cream cleanser as my first step in the double-cleanse method, was pretty satisfied with it, and wasn’t sure how much better a cleanser could be anyway. Surely you just wash it off, and all it’s supposed to do is clean your face without stripping?
I was wrong – this feels like the mercedez benz of cleansing experiences. The balm melts beautifully into a thick oil, then emulsifies immediately when you add water and rinses clean and soft. I love the lack of smell, I love the formulation, I love that it doesn’t break out my extremely picky skin. Takes off everyday makeup and sunscreen just fine, though as usual if you’re wearing a ton of eye makeup a good makeup remover is better to start with.
It’s going to take a miracle to get me to switch cleansers unless some enterprising brand feels like sending me samples.

The Banila Co. Clean It Zero Purity is the first solid balm to oil cleanser makeup remover that I’ve used and I love it! I specifically bought this one instead of the original because I found out that it is free from artificial coloring, synthetic fragrance, alcohol, parabens and mineral oil. Although it is targeted for people with sensitive skin, I have oily and (mild, stubborn) acne-prone skin that breaks out pretty often. Luckily for me, this product DID NOT break me out whatsoever. It comes in a strong plastic jar and comes with a little scoop thing so you don’t have to dip your fingers into it. A little goes a long way for this product. I bought a jar sometime in late spring and it lasted until late fall! This product is gentle yet strong enough to remove everything on your face – including those full faced makeup nights and heavy-duty mascara. The only con that I have is that I do not know how this cleanser will last if you travel with it to a very hot climate (Would it completely meltdown to oil after a few hours in heat?). Overall, I highly recommend this product.
