“It burnsss! It BURNS!”
Burns the living daylights out of dry skin – even though the sales lady said it is great for dry skin. Nope. No good. Beautiful looking product though but a lot of ouchy, burnsies for drier skin types

Ok now I have no major skin concerns but just aim to get radiant skin and since I’ve purchased this product I don’t think I can use any other. Though it is relatively high in cost compared to previous cleansers I have used it is definitely worth it due to several factors.
1. Once I tone my skin after cleansing, it is squeaky clean so it genuinely works so well as a cleanser
2. My skin type is normal-oily and I feel it’s less oily whenever I use it, not only that but it provides me with a soft supple base for me to work on when applying makeup. Oh yeah, it makes your skin ridiculously soft!!!
3. You need a tiny amount to cover your whole face, so the bottle will last you for ages – 230ml should last you about a year
4. As my skin is feeling softer and is being cleansed well I do feel like it provides me with a natural radiance
I have recommended this product to many family and friends who all love the product and have said it has worked well on their sensitive or spot prone skin.

im not seeing a drastic transformation from this product, but well it makes my skin feel cleaner (duh) and ya actually this works just like the other cleansing foam

I used this product around this time last year when I was dealing with some of the worst acne of my life. I was in so much pain from my acne, it was the deep rooted type that would take weeks to come to the surface but would make it incredibly sore to even talk.
This is by far the best product I have ever used. Just to give a little context, my skin is combination, very acne prone/prone to clogging but also incredibly red around my nose and cheeks. This face wash really helped clear my skin, and although I was using numerous products at the time I could tell that this was the main one that was making a difference. Honestly, it is a little drying, and as it’s winter now I no longer use it. However, I have started to break out again. I feel like I should of kept up with using this product every few days or so.
Obviously no one product works for everyone and I don’t really believe in miracle products, trust me after spending so much money on things that seem to work for everyone else I know that the hard way, this is outstanding.
Pros:
– As someone who is heavily sensitive to fragrance this did not irritate it (infact none of the other products that are scented from kiehls have)
-Really helped clear my skin within a short amount of time
-Helped tone down my redness like nothing else has
-A little goes a long way, you only need a small dot on this stuff, I used the travel version for four months. I’ve spend less on cheaper products that have lasted a fraction of the time
Cons:
– It can be a little drying, which is why I’m considering trying the toner from the same line on the problem areas of my face

expensive, but super worth it. (on my second bottle now!)
the packaging has a great twist and lock pump which makes it great for travelling, and it lasts ages. I use this as my AM and part of my PM double cleanse. perfect for my combination skin and works well even when I’m back home in a humid climate, as well when I’m in uni in a dry climate.

It’s okayish but no more. If I didn’t have any better options I’d use it but overall this cleanser isn’t even in my top 10. I think I’ll finish mine and forget about it forever.
I have a sensitive combination to dry skin and I sometimes find the deep cleansing wash to be drying. It doesn’t irritate my skin very noticeably but it’s nowhere near soothing either. I’m getting the impression that it does more harm than it helps.
Anyway, as it also doesn’t remove even light makeup and does absolutely nothing exceptional whatsoever I find no reason to justify the price tag. Really, I’ve tried more expensive cleaners that were worth it. This one just doesn’t. Korean $5 cleanser can do a better job than Kiehl’s Deep Cleansing Face Wash.

This is my go to daily cleanser, on application it just brightens and softens the skin, after about a month of use you will see a slowed down oil production which is great if you have a horrifically oily T-Zone like me lol. The smell is really pleasant as the Calendula plant is part of the Marigold family of plants which makes this really gentle and soothing on the skin. I even use this as a make up remover when I’ve ran out of Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil which is also amazing too!! The packaging is plain, I asked why and it’s because the cleansers sell themselves and don’t need fancy font’s, pictures or colours to sell the product. It’s simply word of mouth which is actually what brought me to buy the cleanser in the first place as they don’t advertise on TV. Also snag some samples when you go to your local Kiehl’s they’re really generous with samples if you ask them.

This stuff is pretty good! Very basic but gets it right. Nice deep cleansing feel for oily skin but does not overstrip it and does not leave a gross residue. A little goes a long way so a bottle will last a long time.

Went into a 3rd bottle of this. This cleanser does what it says. It’s for normal to oily skin so it suits me fine as I have a combination to oily skin. My face is acne-prone and very sensitive. But i’ve got no bad reaction from it so far. It leaves my skin feel cleansed and suppled. Not drying out my face.
I use it 2x a day. In the morning to clean my face and in evening, after I remove my makeup with some other makeup remover. Followed by serum and moisturizer. And one bottle lasts me monthssss.
The smell is something I don’t like much. I guess it’s the smell of the calendula. It’s something between herbal and alcohol scent. Lucky us that the alcohol isn’t what’s in the ingredients. Anyway, the scent’s quite mild, I can go by it for a couple of minutes while washing my face of course.
One lippie out because of the price. Honestly, the price is quite high in my country. So I usually stock this up when I go abroad and buy it in duty free shop.

I loved the toner but not this. It’s so Super drying that my skin felt so tight afterwards. I don’t often have that issue and I really used a mini tiny drop of it .
