It’s too bad that some people had such an adverse reaction to this product!
Personally it’s one of those things I feel you can’t go wrong using, since the ingredients are so clean and organic. On top of that it took off waterproof liquid eyeliner and all of my makeup with zero issues.
*For the record I layer eye makeup, first with Chanel calligraphy waterproof gel, and then a YSL Couture liner on top so I wear BUDGE PROOF eye makeup.*
as for the stinging the other users are reporting I think it’s because they’re putting too much of this into their eyes, soaking a Q-tip and swabbing makeup off your eyes shouldn’t sting at all.
Personally had zero breakouts or irritation either.

I love this stuff. It removes my makeup easily and doesn’t leave anything behind that would cause breakouts. Usually, I use it after washing my face at night, plus before applying makeup in the morning. But on super-lazy evenings, I’ll just use this and skip the face washing (I can get away with this for a night or two every so often).

I like to use this to cleanse my face in the AM. Leaves no residue and my skin feels fresh after using. It does have a light scent. It’s not offensive though. I tried to use this after my shower and it began to lather a bit. Quite odd. Only other minor complaint is the cap. I wish it were like the one on Simple’s Micellar Water or like a spout. Instead it’s like the cap on a bottle of baby shampoo. Other than that, i like it and will continue to use in the morning as a cleanser. I wish Pacifica would stop adding fragrance to their products. It’s not necessary.

I love this. I stopped wearing makeup because eye makeup removers always left a residue on my eyes and never got everything. I switched to coconut oil which works great but it was too much hassle still. I haven’t worn makeup in years, just on REALLY special occasions.
Then I found this, wanting to jump on the micellar train. This micellar water why I started wearing eyeliner again. I use Stila Stay All Day and this takes it off like nothing. I actually have fun doing makeup again, even just practicing. If you want low maintenance when it comes to makeup removal, I 100% recommend this.
It also works extremely well fixing mistakes. I use it to fix my eyeliner since I’m still trying to learn lol. You wipe with a q-tip and dry it. It leaves no residue and you can redo your eyeliner right away.

I like the very light, natural scent from the added grapefruit water. It has simple ingredients, does not dry or irritate my skin and does not leave a residue on my skin. This also does not cause me to breakout.I do follow up with my regular cleanse, as I have yet to find a makeup remover that removes 100% of my makeup. This removes most of my foundation and mascara. Removes all of my eye shadow and eye liner.

I really wanted to like this product because I like Pacifica as a brand. I have been trying to find a Micellar water that’s similar to Bioderma Sensibio but easier to get locally and cheaper. So far I’ve tried Simple and this product and they haven’t cut it. I found it to be drying and it stings my eye area sometimes. It leaves behind some mascara as well.

I’ve been transitioning my beauty products to natural brands as much as I can and I was excited to find out that Pacifica made a micellar water. I bought this because we recently installed a water softener in our house and ever since, my skin has been irritated, breaking out in random hives on my body and breaking out on my face. I’m not sure what it is because I didn’t have a huge problem washing with our hard water and usually people have breakout issues with hard water, not soft water. I thought using this instead of washing my face with our water might be a good alternative because I read an article that said French women do this due to their hard water. I’m not sure if that is true, just what I read. Anyways, my skin did not like this at all. I expected a micellar water to be soothing to the skin and this was the exact opposite. After a couple days using this, my skin felt very bumpy, irritated, and dried out my skin. I tried using this only to remove eye makeup and it stung my eyes, irritated and dried out the skin around my eyes as well. It also wasn’t that great at removing eye makeup and I don’t even wear waterproof. My skin is combination in winter, oily during summer and it does easily break out so maybe this will work for others.
Note: I turned down the level of the water softener and my skin is quickly getting better so now I can wash my face as usual without fear. I bought this at Ulta and it is definitely going back.

Like all Pacifica products, this micellar cleaning tonic is 100% vegan and cruelty free. It removes makeup like a dream and does not need to be rinsed off afterwards. I highly recommend it!

For reference I have oily, acne-prone, rosacea-prone skin. My favorite cleansing waters are: Simple, Bioderma Sensibio, Koh Gen Do Spa Water.
Looks like I’m the first to review this here on MUA! I was hopeful about finding another drugstore option but this one is really nothing special. I feel like it did a very poor job at cleansing the remaining traces of MU after using an oil cleanser. Also it left my lips feeling numb, which was very odd. I’m concerned what it could be doing to my skin. Every time I used it, my skin felt clean but the next morning I’d find more make up on the paper towel.
So why does this get 3 lippies?
The ingredient list is decent (nothing bad). It doesn’t leave a film of residue from the water itself on my skin, so I know this didn’t break me out. And I have tried way worse.
Boots, and Garnier (both versions) sucked. I’m adding this to that list along with the Burt Bees one I just reviewed. I have no clue why Simple is the only drugstore brand to get it right.
