I love rose based products so I was excited to try this line. I found this foaming cleanser to be very drying though. In fact I found most of this line to be pretty drying.

Solid performing foam cleanser for a decent price.
I purchased this from iherb after running out of my giant bottle of Philosophy’s Purity cleanser. I was wanting to switch to something a bit gentler, as I figured my prior oil cleansing did most of the heavy lifting and the second cleanser was just removing traces.
Thus cleanser is really cheap on that website, so I figured why not? I’ve tried a few foam cleansers before- (Skin-Ceuticals; Ole Henrikson; Caudalie) and found them really nice and gentle on my skin, whilst still removing makeup.
This stuff did not disappoint.
To start, it has a really lovely, silky foam texture. Despite being foam, it still has substance to it- doesn’t just dissolve into nothing when you put it on your face. Two pumps is enough to clean my face perfectly.
The scent (roses, of course) is slightly on the stronger side, but is by no means overwhelming (not on the level of most Korean cleanser, which tend to be overpowering). The scent disappears after you rinse it off.
This sufficiently removes any traces of makeup left after my oil cleanse. I don’t find that this leaves my skin super soft afterwards, but that’s no big deal.
My skin is normal (now- thanks, accutane!) to dry, and quite sensitive. No problems with blemishes (again- thanks accutane). Despite that, cant imagine this stuff causing breakouts- it’s really gentle and rinses clean. I don’t know if this has helped my skin with sensitivity- probably not, as I’ve noticed no change and I’m on my second bottle. Bottle lasts a good 10 weeks, I’d say.
To summarise, it does what it says for a decent price and feels a little bit luxurious in doing so. Win.

Love this stuff! It works for all skin types, and has the most refreshing Rose scent! It does a great job of removing excess makeup and leaving my skin squeaky clean. This is now my go-to cleanser! I use it twice a day alongside the floral toner and day/night creams from this line and it works wonders. It is also nice that it is EWG approved and cruelty free.

I’ve been using this cleanser for three years, mostly in the evenings. I love it. My skin is sensitive and combination-oily, and it turns bright pink at the slightest offense. The 1000 Roses cleansing foam by Andalou does a lovely, thorough job of taking off my makeup at night, leaving not a trace, or even simply cleaning my face in the morning. I love the scent, but then, I like roses.

Really like this target impulse buy! Got it on sale as they were repackaging. Use it as an am cleanse and second part of double cleanse in pm. I have normal skin & just love how this feels, cleans without stripping & my skin looks better after I have used it. Mild rose scent (to me). Plays well with acids, serums. Have made it an amazon subscription!

Great price and I love many products from the Andalou Naturals brand, this was very drying though. I used as part of a double cleanse after a cleansing oil and it was still drying to me.My skin felt very tight and uncomfortable, couldn’t get moisturizing toner and serums on fast enough. Would not repurchase for me, but my daughter uses from time to time so it won’t be wasted. I’m 49 and she’s 22 with skin on the dryer side. It does remove make-up, dirt and oil very well so if you don’t mind the tightness or have very oily sensitive skin this might work. The price is fab and I personally love the mild natural scent of roses so it was very pleasant to use in that regard.

I was so excited to buy this product as I love natural cleansers and products that do not test on animals. I also love the packaging on all of Andalou’s line as well. The cleanser has great ingredients and did foam very well on my skin. I have sensitive skin and it DID make me break out with acne, which was VERY disappointing to me as I wanted to love the product.

Amazing. This cleanser is dispensed as a luxurious foam. As others have stated, it smells great and the scent is not overpowering. It applies to skin without tugging or pulling, and does a great job of cleaning the skin. It does not dry out my skin, but I probably wouldn’t use it on the driest, coldest winter days because it is a foaming cleaner, and they tend to dry the skin. But so far this hasn’t caused dryness for me. It rinses easily and doesn’t feel like it leaves anything on the face.
I don’t even need to use a full pump for this – half a pump is fine as the foam actually increases as you lather it.
The price is very reasonable considering similarly sized foaming products out there, and the overall quality of this Andalou product.
My only complaint is that I think the packaging is a little overdone. It’s a large plastic bottle with a very large plastic cap, and it comes in a box. The box is not necessary at all, and the plastic cap could be smaller. I just think companies should try to keep waste to a minimum when they design packaging.

This is a good cleanser, it is gentle and cleans without stripping the skin. Alike other Andalou products it also has a lovely scent and I liked the foam dispenser. I would most likely still be using it if I hadn’t found another cleanser that I really love. Though I could find no fault with this product it certainly doesn’t work any miracles when it comes to blemishes or skin tone, but it’s natural, vegan, cruelty free and it does what it is meant to, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

Really lovely to use. I have sensitive, dry skin and love using gentle foaming cleansers that don’t strip my skin—my favorite one from Orjean Organics got discontinued, but I think I might like this one just as much, if not more. Very gentle, cleanses well, lovely sweet rose scent that calms me down and puts me in a great mood, washes off well without residue. I always oil-cleanse beforehand to get my makeup off so I can’t comment on its ability to effectively remove makeup, but I wouldn’t use this for that purpose in the first place. I had no problem with this cleanser, love the packaging. Will purchase again! You can get $10 off your order on iherb.com using code YEW608.
