This was such a saga! I placed my order for one of the passport compacts and thought I should have an application refresher so I ordered the DVD as well. When the DVD came it was in PAL format which only works in Europe and parts of Asia and Australia. I emailed and let them know of the problem. They emailed back and said they’d send another one but it should work because they only shipped to US and Canada. They sent me another PAL format disc!! Now I have 2 of these useless coffee coasters. I emailed them again suggesting they check what their supplier sent them as there is clearly an issue and asked them to refund me the money for the DVD. I never heard another thing from them. So frustrating! Given this lousy customer service, I won’t be dealing with them again. I can’t tell you if the product is good unless I do some travelling.

This DVD is a must have. It helped me with the step by step application process of a flawless face that uses all the different product in the face disc. The color coding on the diagram and face disc makes everything so easy. I have a brush set that came with my first disc and it works great with the system, held up over time too. Like the other reviewer said not a must have, but nice to use with the system. I have told so many friends about this when they ask me about how I do my makeup, and they like it as well. There is really no better instructional IMO.

This DVD/VHS tape does exactly what it needs to do. It explains slowly and clearly how to use each product in the Face Disk. Lauren Hutton uses herself as the instructor and model, starting with a clean face and putting each product on one-by-one. It came with the disk (not a separate purchase), so hard to evaluate “price” or “would you buy this product again.” However, her website sells the DVD separately for $10.00, which seems reasonable.

Excellent instructional DVD that comes with the face disc. I have bought three of her face disc so I have already accumulated 1 VHS and two of her DVDs because they came with the face discs.
I find Lauren very down to earth and refreshing. She is so unassuming when demonstrating how to use the face disc. I think she is very brave to serve as the model and show her before and after. At first, the face disc may seem a litle confusing because of the different color coding but she goes through each of them step-by-step and tells you what brush to use. She also says that you can use brushes that are not from her line, which I think is an honest statement because you don’t need to purchase her brushes to use the face disc effectively. The only odd thing that she did, which I think is icky, was when she moistened the eyeliner brush by dipping it on her tongue so that she can apply eyeliner. That is so unhygienic!
One thing that I wish she would do is update the VHS/DVD to include her applying make up from the face disc on other women and/or show other women putting on their own make up, while using the face discs, to show how simple it is to use.
