Do not purchase this product!!! I made an account just to write a reveiw on this product. The first time I used this I thought it was a great product, it removed all the hair perfectly. Then after the night after I used it I woke up with a burn under and above one of my eyebrows, shortly after that I started to break out more than I ever have in my entire life, in places of my face I never have before. I didn’t think much about it being from this product at first because around the same time I tried this (the first time) I also started using other new facial products as well. Then.. A few weeks after that my acne calmed down and it was time to do my eyebrows again, VERY big mistake. I realized after I used this product for the second time it was definitely this product that made me break out. The acne came back 3x worse than what I experienced the first time, it’s been shortly after I month from the last time I used this product and the acne is still on my face (and hasn’t gotten much better).
I have all these hard painful bumps spefically in and around my eyebrows that are completely under my skin. It took weeks for most of them to finally come to a head for me to be able to pop them, but they never fully completely popped, (gross I know) but after I would pop one stuff would come out but afterwards it still felt hard to the touch and would come back within a couple days. And it also made me breakout throughout my face (I also used this product around my mouth and slightly going up my cheeks) I experienced acne there and made it spread to other parts of my face as well. I have bought numourous products trying to make my acne to go away or calm down including face masks, face washs, moisturizer, and spot treatments from drugstore to high end. The acne on my cheeks, and around my face has calmed down and most turned into acne spots but the acne in and around my eyebrows are hopeless. It is deep in my skin, painful, etc and I can’t take it anymore. I called and made an appointment with a dermatologist today. *I also forgot to mention right after I used this product the second time my face was numb and tingly for at least 6-8 hours and made it very sensitive to the touch*
Sorry if I might’ve gotten off topic, but the bottom line is I just wanted to make other people aware of what this product is capable of. This is the worst product I have ever used and wouldn’t use this again. There are many other options for removing hair off your face, I HIGHLY* recommend choosing a different option. Worst reaction from a product I have ever experienced, please don’t purchase this. I hope I have helped someone by this review!

Ok, at first i thought this wasnt good because it left me a chemical rash when i left it on for ten minutes. But then i tried for only 5 and it worked perfectly… hair was gone, no irritation, no bumps… great buy for me.

I love this product….I have been using it since I was 14 and im 23 now….I have to leave it on for at least 10 minutes when I use it but it works every time for me…maybe it works better on darker skinned people?…I recommend this to all of my friends.

I wish negative lippies were an option. I used this on my upper lip, the hair is gone but horrific acne took its place. I hate this product.

Gross, just…No. I once used this instead of my beloved Sally Hansen cream. BIG mistake. It got rid of none of my upper lip hair, and it smells terrible.

This product worked decently well until yesterday. Like usual, I applied this on my upper lip. After only a minute, my upper lip started to burn. I took it off immediately and was pleasantly surprised with painful red blotches on the corners of my upper lip. When I tried using moisturizer to ease the pain, I only felt more pain. I took Benadryl and went to bed. The next day (today) I woke up with scaly, gray, dead skin where the blotches used to be. It is terrible and I don’t know how to treat it. Never use this product. Never buy this product.

Pretty sure if you read the back part of the product it says you’ll have silky legs from using this. Its really effective for the legs. I think I will be sticking to this since it’s painless and effective. I use a warm damped towel to wipe it off after the leaving it for 10 minutes. Will repurchase again and I recommend it for the legs.

I don’t recommend this. I have dirty blonde hair and always had light peach fuzz on face that was no big deal. Well I started using this in summer 2012 just cuz I thought why not? Well it is now summer 2013 and I go to ideal image for laser treatments because the hair that I treated with Nair grew back course and dark brown! I used this about twice a week for 6-8 months. It was fine for 2-3 days after but then little dark hairs sprouted! Looked like I shaved it! It said do not exceed 10 mins and I never did but I always needed 9-10 mins for it to work. Ugh so then I’m wondering why are the hairs coming back darker? Is this going to stop? I thought Nair made hair come back more sparse?! Well not for me, one week I was antisocial and let my upper lip and chin go without hair removal and omg there were almost black hairs that were unnaturally thick for me. They were abnormal looking like blunt ends and sticking out like cat whiskers! I can’t believe a fair haired, fair skinned girl like myself now has to go get laser treatments because of this. There is nothing else Ive done to cause this, I have to blame it on the Nair, riht? Has this happened to anyone else?

Due to the low rating of this product receieved on MA I was a little wary of purchasing it, but I’m glad I did. It works very well for me. I use it to get rid of some light peach fuzz above my lip. My peach fuzz is very light blonde so I don’t know how well this product works with dark hair. I also have very sensitive skin, but I only experienced mild irritation when I accidentally left the cream on a couple minutes longer than directed. The initial scent isn’t too unpleasant, however, once the product begins working you can smell that faint weird Nair smell though it isn’t overwhelming. Be sure to apply this product to clean skin and moisturizer after you throughly rinse it off your skin. Also, I find q-tips make a good applicator for this product.

My mom reccomened this product to me to get rid of my peach fuzz on my upper lip. The first time i used it, it got rid of all my hair completely. I was left with some redness and burning, even though i used it for only 6 minutes. I decided to try it again though. Big mistake! This time it broke me out all over my lip with zits that havent gone away even after 2 weeks! And the hair grew back really fast. This product sucks, i think im going to try waxing now.
