I have this scent in the 3-wick style, and it’s probably my favorite scent that Bath and Body Works has. It’s a sweet scent of cherry that is also warm. It’s not overpowering when lit, and makes the room smell cozy. It would be best to wait for a sale, since these are up there in price. Definitely pick up Black Cherry Merlot if you’re looking for a new scent!

I ordered this candle sight-unseen after being thrilled with B&BW’s hand soaps in the same fragrance. That was a mistake. I’ve been burning the candle for about two hours and mainly smell smokey cough syrup rather than the advertised notes of “dark cherry, black raspberry & sumptuous merlot.” Very bummed out as I hoping for better. It has strong throw, though, and looks like it will last at least 25 hours as advertised. The container is beautiful & sophisticated – dark purple with a white & gold label. Some people might like it, but I recommend trying before buying to be sure. Glad I only paid half price!
