Was hoping this would be the end-all, be-all for my sparse brows. The concept of the forked tip applicator is awesome and seems like it would be great for making hair-like looking strokes. It’s not. Here are my pros and cons.
Pro-
Gray Brown color is just perfect for me. It’s not quite the same gray brown as the Drawing Eye Brow pencil, it’s a bit lighter and more brown than gray, but it’s still a really natural, versatile color.
Staying power is fantastic. Once it’s on it will take eye makeup remover, a good scrub with soap, or a lot of sweating and rubbing to get it off. I always wash my face at night, so don’t know if it would last into a second day if you didn’t but my guess is that it would.
Con-
The forked applicator just doesn’t work well. The product is a very thin liquid. The forked applicator is a 1/4″ long four-pronged rubber tip which is quite flexible. If the product flowed to the ends of the tips I think application would work, however it does not. The product stays at the base of the tips which means you have to press down to get it onto your brow, which means you get too much liquid in one spot. Even if you use the brush that comes with it to then distribute the product, you still have too much in one spot. I’ve tried and tried but I get the same result each time. I can’t count the times I’ve had to wipe off and re-start application because it looks bad. Takes me forever to get this on and looking decent. Once in a while, if I press down on the base on a tissue or something, to get the product going, I’m able to get some on the tip so I can apply it a bit better, but then I’m wasting product on the tissue.
Wanted this to be my hg brow product, but it’s just not. I would repurchase, but only to use for special occasions when I absolutely need something that will stay put all day (eg: being outside when it’s hot).
