I LOVE this product. I’m probably half-way or two thirds of the way through my first tube and I’m hooked. This gives a lovely, very natural bronzing effect which just makes you look a little bit healthier, more alive. I mix this with my Hada Labo Gokuyjun Premium HA usually, but have also used this with light moisturizers. It’s never streaky. One pump is usually sufficient for me. For reference my skin tone is C3 / NC-30.

2nd update (ha I’m psycho sorry):
I’m now very tanned. All I use for my complexion are 3 items: this as foundation. It’s soooo beautiful. MAC loose gold shimmer powder as highlight. Bare minerals loose (must be loose not the new pressed one) WARMTH to put in some build able depth (no other bronzer shows up on me now). Exactly matches my nc42/44 skin and amps it to an other worldly glow.
ETA I found a use for this on my fake tan face and I’ve been doing it every day. My face doesn’t need as much coverage w the tan. So on my foundation palette, I put some squirts of this and some of a heavy foundation (favorite is double wear in 4w1 honey bronze for the tan). I blend together with a brush and pat it onto my face. It sheers out the foundation and bronzes it up radiantly – beautiful!!!
I usually only use this when I’m fake tanned, since it’s kinda dark. I do not like anything else by drunk elephant as in my opinion they are overpriced… u can get similar products from ordinary that work as well if not better. Also I use rx retinoids.
I had a small sample and liked it enough to buy the full size (which is pretty small). I agree with some other reviewers that this is really not necessary; it’s just nice to have if you get on with the nice non-orange bronze color and non-glittery radiance. I use it like I’d use Laura Mercier illuminating TM…. which I only have rn in bare radiance. Which is waaaay too light for my tanned nc40ish skin; in all honesty I was teetering back and forth between this product and a darker illuminating TM. This one won cuz I wanted to give it a try. It is after all a unique little product. It claims all these skincare boosters which LM TM doesn’t.
It’s a small cool looking pump bottle which I like. Although it’s kinda too small. When I’m faux tanned I can use it alone to even out my complexion or mixed into anything. When I’m lighter, nw20-30, I don’t really know what to do with it.
I said I’d buy again. I think. Or would I go with a darker “radiance” in the LM? Maybe this for the skincare benefits.

This is much more flattering than I anticipated. I’m on the lighter side and this does not make me look too tanned or orange or splotchy. Definitely a nice little luxury but not a need. I like adding this into foundation, the only thing that falls shorts is that I love a matte finish and this usually will alter the formula of my foundations, making them more dewy and harder to set. Also, a little of this goes a long way! I use half a pea size usually and it works and shows the bronze effect more than enough.

I am far from being a fan of Drunk Elephant products, save for the Marula Oil and A-Passioni Retinol Cream, but I also really like these bronzing drops. I got a small size in a duo with the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum, which they recommend mixing the two together. I thought this was a good way to test out the drops but you can really mix them in with any moisturizer, serum, primer, etc. They are kind of a “sleeper” product. That little something that just boosts your skin’s appearance without being an added step or product as you really only need a little to add into an existing product. I’ve tried something like this before from Jouviance, which they recommended mixing in with their mineral sunscreen to alleviate the white cast and it was genius because you got coverage both in the way of protection from the sun AND it was like foundation at the same time. Are they necessary? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t at least try a mini of them if you are looking for a healthy bronzed glow.

I hate to rain on the parade, but this was a fail. I paid $44 for this and ended up with a swathe of zits and a look which (whether I mixed the stuff with sunscreen or tinted moisturizer) came out boiled-looking, muddy, and unnatural–even if I added a very small amount. I’m sticking to my Hylamide Glow Booster–effective and cost-efficient.

I’ve been using D Bronzi for a few weeks now so I though I would write a review. I have been using (and loving) DE products for the last year and a half and have seen huge improvements in my sensitive skin.
D Bronzi is a really great product. It can be used as a bronzer or added into a moisturizer/serum or a sunscreen for a bit of colour and some added antioxidants. I use it to cut out some of the white cast on my favourite sunscreen (Elta MD UVClear). It works really well mixed in with my sunscreen and I have no need to wear a BB cream or powder on top to try to cut through the pretty severe white cast my sunscreen leaves behind. It doesn’t cause any pilling, which UV Clear is notorious for, since D Bronzi doesn’t contain any silicones. It has also not caused any irritation or breakouts at all.
I would have given D Bronzi 5 stars as it is really a great product, but the claims of antioxidants I feel is slightly far fetched considering how little product I use. If you really want to up the antioxidants in your skincare routine I would suggest incorporating a vit c serum like C Firma or even better and cheaper Timeless CE.

The new Drunk Elephant D Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Serum is designed to be a mix-in product, like many others that have come before. So many brands these days have mix in highlighters, bronzers, some color correctings drops, etc. What makes the Drunk Elephant D Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Serum different than those is that it actually contains a wide array of antioxdants and skin soothing ingredients to help protect your skin when it is exposed to pollutions and sun. I love that it is fragrance free I do think Drunk Elephant slightly overstates the effectives and the benefits your skin will get because this will be diluted with the moisturizer you mix it with. I like this and the added touch of color, however, this product definitely won’t garner attention from everyone because many people don’t use bronzers, if you do or have- this is a great bronzing serum/ mixer to check out. I’ve been using this mixed with the Drunk Elephant Protini and then layering this with a good sunscreen and have had great results. My video review and swatch can be seen here: k
