This is an absolute gem of a bronzer!
Firstly, it contains no problematic ingredients and is cruelty free which is a winner in my book. Secondly, it works well on top of all my foundations which is impressive as I alternate between numerous finishes/coverages – Bourjois Healthy Mix day to day (satin/light-medium coverage), Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion for nights out/evenings (demi-ish matte/medium coverage) and MAC Studio Fix Fluid for theatre/stage work (matte/full coverage). You couldn’t get three more diverse formulations if you tried and this bronzer works beautifully with them all. Aesthetically, it comes in cute packaging and isn’t stupidly expensive! What more could you want?!

While Sephora didn’t get other items from the Beached collection, they did get this which is how I know that it retails for an alarming $40 in Canada. I found it at Marshalls for $16.99, so a great price. Packaging is very pretty too. I’m not a huge fan of bronzers generally but I got this in the shade Sun Kissed, which seems to be the lighter and cooler (relatively speaking) of the 2 shades offered and I am really very pleased with it. I dust this all over the higher planes of my face (the ones the sun would hit if I actually went into the sun) and it does give a natural and healthy colour to my face. I’ve tried using it to contour my cheeks but as if often the case, that just looked silly (I have a round face, even at my advanced age, and trying to “create” cheekbones and hollows just looks fake). I also like this dusted lightly on my throat to make it match my face a bit better. I don’t know that I’d have been quite as thrilled if I’d paid full price but for $16.99, I am very happy and would repurchase it for that price.

I think this is a wonderful bronzer! The formula is silky smooth and soft to the touch, finely milled, and did not emphasize my dry skin or texture issues. This this blends out and in like a dream with no streaking issues. This didn’t wear off or fade throughout the day nor did it oxidize like so many bronzers tend to do on my warm skintone. I purchased this in the shade Bronzed.
This is an excellent value for your money as well – its hard to find a good bronzer under $30 (well, hard for me anyway!) and this one exceeds my expectations for the cost. I like this bronzer more than my Too Faced Soleil,Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Bronzer, or Nars Laguna. While I still like Makeup Forever’s Pro Bronze Fusion more, the UD bronzer is much easier to use.
I have never been a fan of UD products but this is one I can get on board with!

Never bought a bronzer before. I always looked on the one by essence but I was always like “Hmm, nope, not today”. Til I saw this one. The packaging catches your eye once you see it. Small but yet outstanding. It makes me wanna apply bronzer right away and travel to Miami, Ibiza, Mallorca, wherever the beautiful beaches are. But what about the product? I was surprised that I need to be careful. The first time I took too much on my brush and thought “This won’t blend good, damn”. But it looked amazing in the end. I didn’t expect such good results. All was well blended and looked smooth.
My face was sun kissed, like the shade’s name (bought the brightest). I will use this when my face needs a fresh touch of a fake tan.

This is literally the best bronzer I have ever tried. Its so smooth and blends so beautifully. It makes my face look like I just left the beach. I have the darker shade which is Bronzed. I seriously recommend giving it a go, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Packaging is super cute. At $26 USD I think it’s well worth the investment!
