This is my favourite bronzer formula, hands down. I have it in both diffused light and nude bronze light as these shades I think have a more natural sheen. I have used the luminous bronze light but I found there were very fine glitter particles in that shade so I’m not as big of a fan of that shade. They blend SO easily and they last a really long time since they’re a baked powder. The packaging is beautiful and light. I used to think these bronzers were slightly over priced though but I’m seeing the price point of bronzers just keep climbing in comparison so now I can whole heartedly recommend over and over! I It provides this beautifully blended bronzed sheen every… single.. time i use it. It’s so easy and convenient to use so I reach for this over and over. Love. Love. Love.

It’s a nice bronzer and blends well, but on me it pulls very orange. I cannot use it anymore because of the weird shade.
For reference i am 1w1 in estee lauder double wear and i bought the diffused light bronzer.

I bought this in Diffused Bronze Light and found it disappointing. I was hoping the description was accurate, of a “cool bronze shade” but found it quite orangey for my NW20 skin. Color aside, the texture is nice but nothing special. I much prefer my Bobbi Brown, Guerlain, and Becca bronzers.

I love the formula of their powders. I have shade Nude Bronze Light, and for me it is the perfect buildable bronzer that creates the most natural bronze glow.
Give it a try, it is expensive but it lasts forever and the formula is fantastic.

While I like this bronzer, I don’t think it is at all worth the money. I got the shade Nude Bronze Light, which adds a soft glow and a hint of color and looks very natural on the skin. It is pigmented but subtle at the same time, which I know sounds contradictory, but if you’ve used any of Hourglass’s Ambient Light products you will know what I am talking about. The packaging is lovely, but again, for the price, I don’t think it is *that* nice. I am a life-long devotee of the Ambient Lighting Powder and blushes, but I just don’t think this bronzer performs up to par with those products. It is not terrible by any stretch, but there are less expensive bronzers that do the job just as well, or there are equally expensive bronzers that do the job better. If you want a subtle, soft, illuminating bronzer and you have $50 to spare, then don’t hesitate to try this one.

How do fair cool toned people wear this? On me it reads pure ORANGE. It is the most orange high end bronzer I have ever used. It also has a lot of glitter so if you don’t want that in your day time look, avoid. Definitely swatch before buying. It’s a beautiful product, like most hourglass products, but the tone is questionable imo. I think it’s the mix of the pink blusher and the yellow based bronzer marbled together that is pulling orange on my skin.

After swatching a number of bronzers in Sephora, I decided to go with Nude Bronze Light as it looked the most flattering on my fair cool-toned skin (NW20). It gives a subtle but very pretty effect. Hourglass is definitely pricey but I decided to splurge at the Sephora sale as I like the luminous texture of this bronzer which is more flattering on my mature skin than the matte bronzers. For summer I really like the Becca bronzer in Capri Coast which is also luminous but it’s a bit dark for winter. I found their lightest shade, Bali Sands, too yellow on me. The Hourglass bronzer is more natural looking while also giving my skin some warmth.

This is my holy grail bronzer. It looks so seamless and natural on my pale skin. It’s also so pigmented that you only need a tiny bit each application. I’ve been using it everyday for almost a year and I’ve hardly even made a dent!

I bought this product and am really happy with the colour. Its very nice and gives me a healthy glow. It is quite shimmery though .

I was hoping this would work for me and I’m so sad it doesn’t. The pigment on this product is FANTASTIC. I barely had to touch my brush to the product and it picked up so much product. This will last you forever because of that. The product is buttery smooth and seamless to blend. It actually just blends as you apply. It’s wonderful. I love the packaging and everything about it, really. My only issues with this product was that it pulled too orange/red on me and didn’t give me the look I wanted. So the color was off on me and it also has the ingredient bismuth oxychloride in it which can irritate and itch the skin. My skin didn’t necessarily itch all the time, but I noticed a few times when it did. It was not the itching that made me return this product, it really was the orangey color that made me return it. If the color was right I would have put up with any itching because I loved everything else about it.
