I wrote this review for the yellow jar – the Gommage “Tonic” Corps – but I love the “Relax” just as much depending on my mood. As body scrubs they’re equally effective, but the “Tonic” line has a sharp herbal bergamotty/eucalyptusy fragrance while the “Relax” line has a mild aniseedy-like fragrance:
LOVE this stuff. Kimura’s trick is smart (the reviewer before me). For those who don’t have the Huile “Tonic” though, I suggest that you go against the suggested usage and use this on dry skin before you turn the shower on. Your skin will be impeccably soft and smooth afterwards. Scrub hard and rinse your hands before your body though, cuz the essential oils that tone can also dry your hands in a slightly uncomfortable way. If you use it with damp hands on damp skin the stuff will emulsify and slide off before it can grip your skin enough for a good polishing. Dry hands and slightly damp skin works well though, if you don’t wanna just go for altogether dry, which is what I do. I love using the whole line together. First the Gommage Corps, then the Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate, then the Huile “Tonic”, then finally the Toning Body Balm. I do the same with the blue ‘Relax’ line and the green ‘Minceur’ line. They all smell so therapeutically and amazingly good so it depends on my mood. Who needs a spa!

Awesome product. I rub it ALL OVER before I turn on the shower. It makes the body so soft, and the aroma of the essential oils make me relaxed. I love using it after a stressful day. It’s a must have for pampering yourself!

I love Clarins products. Gommage “Relax Corps” is a very good and relaxing, pampering treatment for your body. Huge jar 250 gr … heavy! I was a bit doubtful when I purchased that after it had been recommended by an experienced SA.
I used that for my evening shower… With the steam of the shower the essential oils contained in this very thick formula were released in the shower box and I felt so good… breathing these aromatic oil was helping me a lot. it’s a gentle scrub…. a little amount is working wonders as this product is different form other ‘normal’ scrubs that are gel like or liquid: this one instead is VERY concentrated and thick (somebody may not like it) but this is great as it last forever (and this is to be considered when a product is expensive!!):
I really recommend it for chasing away your working-day stress!
