I absolutely love this cleanser. It’s the best cleanser I’ve tried in ages. There are just enough jojoba seeds to feel as if it’s doing a good job exfoliating by itself without the glycolic and lactic acids. It leaves my skin really clean and smooth, without being too abrasive. Can’t recommend it enough, especially if you have dry skin like me.

Background: oily/combination, acne prone and redness
Originally tried this as a sample from a Murad skincare set. Loved it and decided to buy full size!
Pros:
– chemical exfoliator
– feels very nice and light on the skin, not harsh
– I use it daily and my skin can tolerate it
– helps keep the acne at bay (except when I eat greasy foods and have hormonal acne)
– one bottle lasts 6 months (at least for me)
– no fragrance
Cons:
– pricey BUT because it lasts so long, it compensates for the price!
– no travel size
I friggin love this exfoliator!! Will never go back to drugstore ever.

I purchased this cleanser from Sephora because I’d been struggling with some pesky hormonal whiteheads in my chin area, and nothing was helping…not spot treatment, not masks, not anything! I tried the Kate Somerville green cleanser (ExfoliKate?) and it was nice, but it didn’t seem to have any noticeable effect on those stupid spots. However, this Murad cleanser is BOMB. It’s basically put those stupid whiteheads in remission, and keeps my skin generally clear — I still have to deal with one icky period zit per month, but it goes down at the end of my cycle. I use this product to cleanse my skin after removing makeup (with micellar water) and it makes my skin super-soft and doesn’t overdry it. The exfoliant is very mild and doesn’t abrade my skin (but I have very hardy, very normal skin), and it rinses cleanly. I pat dry, apply eye cream, and moisturize, and voila, night routine done! I’m VERY pleased with the results this cleanser has given me and yes, I will definitely be repurchasing! My only caveat to anyone who wants to try it is that this product only comes in size ultra-huge — almost 7 ounces of product — so try to get a sample first. And Murad, if you’re reading, PLS MAKE A TRAVEL SIZE, THX LOVE U BAI. EDIT 4/19/18: For the record, the exact name of the cleanser I use is “Age Reform AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser” and I get it on Sephora.com — comes in a giant purple and white tube. EDIT 3/22/19: his is my HG cleanser, the best I’ve ever used. Keeps my skin super-clear. PSA: wear an SPF every day if you use anything with AHA or BHA in it!

I LOVE this exfoliator! I had been in the market for a new exfoliator for a couple months because my basic exfoliant just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Uncharacteristically I had been experiencing mild breakouts on my forehead and chin after going off birth control and my skin started to look very congested and dull. In my opinion this scrub is the best combination of everything – it lathers nicely, the beads are very fine so they aren’t abrasive, and it contains salicylic, lactic, and glycolic acids to help cell turnover. My skin just feels amazing after using this! I have fairly normal but sensitive skin and this doesn’t cause any irritations or discomfort and it doesn’t dry out my skin. By using this product 2-3 times a week in combination with Murad’s clarifying mask my breakouts have completely cleared up and my skin is definitely more radiant & smooth.

I have been using this every am for 2 months now. I haven’t noticed any major difference with my skin from using this. It’s a nice face scrub but that’s pretty much it. It doesn’t seem to help with wrinkles or acne as far as its bha and aha claims.

I really like this exfoliator. I bought this almost a year ago, and for the first several months I used it three times per week, as suggested. I wasn’t really seeing much of an effect at that point, so I started using it every morning after another cleanser, and I feel like I saw a much bigger difference then. It’s gentle enough to use every day and not feel like your face is falling off like some other exfoliators do. I definitely saw improved brightness in my skin after using this product, but it didn’t do much in the way of helping acne spots fade. I think it did help with controlling my breakouts as well, and it always left my skin feeling really soft. It’s not super cheap, but it lasted nearly a year, and for most of that time I used it on a daily basis. Overall, I like this product and I will repurchase.

I got this as a deluxe sample which I use when travelling. The first time I used it at night, I got up in the morning and found my skin so smooth and glowy. I really like it and would buy it regularly if it was easily available. The only thing that the packaging of the deluxe sample is a tube where the product just flows out as soon as you open it leading to wastage. Don’t know if the full size is the same but I have to make sure I keep this upside-down when not in use.

I bought this product because I was looking for an AHA/BHA cleanser. This has had amazing effects on my skin! my face is so much smoother and I felt my forehead wrinkles start to soften. I started out using this product every other day, at night. It removes all the dirt and make-up that was caked on. Now, I use it every night and finish with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum. My skin feels wonderful! I actually stopped using it for a few weeks because I forgot it at a friends house and I could feel my skin start to get rougher and the wrinkles are more pronounced.
Love this 100%. It’s a little on the pricey side, but totally worth it. Would re-purchase.

14 year old me bought this, having no idea what to expect other than nice result, and I found out the following:
– Just because it’s expensive doesn’t it mean results.
– Taking away dead skin properly needs a harder scrub in my case.
– Acne scars etc. didn’t fade as promised.
HOWEVER,
+ Used 2-3 times a week and one tube lasted me 2 years.
