I never thought I would believe a body scrub really could be ‘all that’ but here we are. Frank Body Coconut Coffee Scrub has changed my life. Frank Body is an Australian made, cruelty free brand famous for their coffee based body scrubs. They have been super popular for a few years now, but I never bought into the hype until I decided to impulsively give the brand a whirl after finishing up my Soap & Glory scrub. Frank Body claims to provide a great exfoliation, help reduce blemishes and cellulite. I was able to see a visible difference in the appearance of my skin after just one use. In particular, my thighs (one of my insecure areas) looked extremely smooth, firm and cellulite seemed less visible. I believe in the long term this effect may well be permanent! I am shocked, and really wish I had taken before and after photos, as I have never seen a result like this. While the scrub is somewhat messy to use (it is basically a bag of coffee grounds), it is worth it for the result. I simply hop in the shower, wet my body, then turn the water off, apply the scrub and massage it into the skin, let it sit for 3 minutes as per the instructions, then put the water back on and rinse off. My skin feels very smooth and nicely scented from the coconut – though the scent doesn’t really stick to the skin that long. The pack is pretty good value for money, $19(AUD) for 200g – pretty standard for a good scrub. It comes in a variety of scents, if like me you are not super big on a pure coffee smell. Coconut is my favourite for sure – sweet and tropical, though well balanced by the coffee scent. It smells like dessert. I highly recommend Frank Body’s range of scrubs. I am a convert and will not be going back to any other brand any time soon.
