The most over-priced & over-hyped face mask on the planet. I am only giving this any points at all because it is Australian, but it is just a clay mask with acids in it. Yes, it comes with a brush, but who the hell doesn’t have brushes? Is it worth $70AU? No! It’s made of dirt like all clay masks. You can put any clay mask over the top of any acid serum and get the same results.

I really wanted to love the SAND & SKY Australian Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment. I’ve heard this is a holy grail treatment by many people, and when this came to Sephora I jumped at the change to pick it up. I’m always looking for good masks and exfoliators, this looked like a double winner when it says it can physically and chemically exfoliate skin through the natural grains and lactic acid. The PH level of the Australian Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment is too high to chemically exfoliate. This does physically exfoliate, but if you have sensitive skin you might find the grains to be a little rough for your skin. This also contains a significant amount of citrus and fragrance ingredients- if you have sensitive skin I’d recommend against this for those reasons. This did leave my skin with a bit of a glow, but I wouldn’t describe this as a holy grail. I see better results with the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial and the Tatcha Violet C Mask.
