Although they do not look that exciting in the pan, these must be one of the prettiest and most wearable blushes that are currently sold at Sephora.
Let’s be clear – I do not like their somewhat uber sweet tropical scent, but they do look flawless on the skin. I love that they are made without a plethora of nasty ingredients, that can be often found in other blushes. The price is right and formula is great too – these blend seamlessly, last all day long and are not too glowy where you can’t sport your highlighter risking to look like a disco ball.
Shade Seychelles is one I would recommend to everyone. You can read more about this and other hot new summer makeup launches in a separate review here ( Hope it helps!

I must agree with the claims, the staying power of this blush is phenomenal. The shade Mykonos is GORGEOUS. A beautiful spring/summer peachy hue. I have never been one for peach shades but within the last year or so the new formulas and shades available have warmed my heart such that I do not shy away from them any longer. I prefer a peach shade in the winter/spring when I am at my palest. I find it looks fresh and youthful. In the summer/fall I gravitate toward rosy/mauve toned blushes and Dolly fits the bill here. Might be a coincidence but I also love the Buxom Lip Cream Gloss in the shade Dolly! Like I said, the staying power is fantastic, it will last all day and night on your skin until you remove your makeup. The formula never applies patchy and it is not dusty, it doesn’t kick up any powder when you tap your brush in it. I have not purchased this (yet), rather been using samples that came in my Sephora orders but I will absolutely consider purchasing when I am in looking for a powder blush to add to my mounting collection.

I am reviewing color Dolly. I normally do not wear blush and when I purchase blush, it lasts me years. This was a free gift with purchase. I was reluctant to use this blush since it is very bright in the pan.
I barely tapped the brush into the pan, OH MY GOODNESS! This is highly pigmented. It looks very bright on the brush, but once applied to the skin, it just melts in and looks gorgeous. It gives me just the right hint of color since I use a light hand. If you want more, use a heavier hand. This last all day on my skin and I get compliments from people.
The price is a bit higher, but with the color payout, longevity on the skin, and beautiful blending into the skin, highly recommend.

This is a good product, although it did not work for me. I like Buxom products in general, and when I saw that they’d introduced a cream blush, I went for it. I purchased Dolly, which is described as “absolute mauve.” It comes in a pretty, perfectly sized flip-top compact with a clear top, so it’s easy to get a brush or finger into it and to see the shade when it’s in your drawer/bag/etc. The texture is quite dry, but not too dry to pick up and blend easily. It’s quite well pigmented, and has no shimmer, but does look a bit glowy on the skin. Now. The smell. It’s loaded with some fake coconut odor (it’s pretty high on the ingredient list–click the “Ingredients” link above to see it) that about knocked me over when I opened the compact. And it lingers. Even though wearing it on my cheeks (not near my nose), I could smell it the entire time I had it on. (It can be headache inducing, so beware.) It applies very easily and looks smooth on the skin as Buxom claims, and the wear time is great. But the color. “Absolute mauve” Dolly is “absolute orange” on me. I know BM/Buxom shades run warm, but this was straight-up orange–on my hand and over foundation. So, if you’re looking for a C2P formula (this is C2P but improved) that is very easy to apply and has some staying power (I think people with oily skin could be pleased with this blush), you’ll like this. However, if you’re sensitive to odors (like really cheap, strong perfume) and need a cool blush shade, give this a big pass (and a wide berth so you won’t smell it). A good product, but a real loser for me. I will return Dolly and would not repurchase.
