For $5 this blush is fantastic! I purchased “Nude” and I absolutely love it, although I personally find it to appear more rosy than brown. Highly pigmented and truly matte. That said, use a light hand because a little goes a long way. I usually have to grab another brush to blend it in so it’s not too bright (but I like the minimal makeup look so that may be just me). Lasted at least 8 full hours on me. I’ve been using it everyday for the past few days and I’m really looking forward to trying out the other shades!

The price is ridiculous, the color payoff is amazing, it’s a really good matte blush, the only thing I am not really excited about is the shade (Fusion, a fuschia/Barbie pink) but that is just personal preference. Other than that this is an amazing product for it’s price!

I first bought this in the shade Beloved because I wanted Nude but it was out. Nude is a damn gorgeous “natural-looking” shade with a hint of rose to it (in the pan). So I finally got Nude and just like Beloved, it wasn’t quite…right for me. Others may love it though!
Good:
Packaging & price – The compacts are chic and pretty big for the low $5 price tag. They don’t feel super sturdy but the branding looks high quality.
Pigmentation – Richly pigmented, this is one blush you won’t hear complaints about it not showing up or fading fast. The color is quite a lovely flush on but comes through with a bit more reddishness than you see in the pan.
Texture – Finely milled, soft (but not overly so) powder feels light as air. Settles into skin for a beautiful, not at all chalky finish.
So what went wrong?
I think it’s the matteness of these blushes that (in my experience) makes them look streaky or blotchy. They either don’t blend especially well or are just so matte that you notice any minor application flaw in a way you wouldn’t with a bit of forgiving shimmer.
Still, if you’re a master blender who loves matte at a good price, give these blushes a try. It may just be my own makeup ineptitude/laziness keeping me from falling in love here.
