   I love this cheek tint. I wear the shade called “Amused” which looks bright red/pink coming out of the tube, but do not be alarmed, it’s lovely on. My undertones are yellow but that can make me look sort of gray if I am not wearing a bit of blush. This has a nice neutral tone (not too cool or too warm) that doesn’t wash out the rest of my face.

   It is one of the few long-lasting, natural looking AND vegan blush stains I have found. I like keeping a dewy, youthful, no makeup look with my makeup, so powders are mostly out of the question. This tint is moisturizing and doesn’t break me out, it also works quite nicely as a lip stain. It’s great if you just want a hint of color in your cheeks to avoid looking washed out.

   I would recommend this to anyone who wants a natural looking, flattering and cruelty free blush.

   I never use gel blushes but received this in a Test Tube so I thought I would try. The color was light pink. The packaging does not say “lips” it only says “cheeks”. It appears to be a really bright/neon color out of the package but goes on light pink however like other reviewers, I could not get this to go on evenly. I have oily skin and some old acne scars and it did not look right. It was very odd. I do like the packaging as it has a pump that dispenses a very small quantity. Now, if you do not like this for your cheeks, I found that I could use as a lip tint. I use a small amount on a lip brush. Try it and see how it looks. It has a silicone feel on the lips but gives good color and I use a liner with it and just a hint of lip color or gloss on top. The base feel is nice and it stays on but only for a little while. If you eat it goes away quickly. So, making lemonade out of lemons! Someone wrote this was no longer available on the TARTE website but I did not verify that information. Don’t throw away, just re-purpose.

   Best cheek tint I’ve ever used. It almost works too well- its difficult to get off your fingers!

   I bought this product in Light Nectar for those days when I don’t want to wear a full face of make-up, just some mascara and maybe a gloss. A beautiful glow, so subtle and lasts for hours. It doesn’t wipe away with sunscreen either.

   I got this for like, $5 on EBay and I was really pleasantly surprised. I have an oily skin type so I am always skeptical of creams and tints, I usually stick to powders only. This product did not disappoint, I’d recommend it to oily skin types for sure!

   I love a good gel blush but this one is not it. Got the light pink. It’s almost neon magenta pink but goes on a soft pink rose shade. Very pretty. Lasted all day too. Unfortunately, I could not get this to go on evenly. I tried brushes fingertips, all to no avail. It would settle oddly and be darker on some patches of my skin. It was not glaringly obvious but I noticed it. No matter what I do, it won’t go on evenly. Also, my pump broke and I had to crack it open to get it in there. I don’t see it any longer on tarte website so I’m thinking this was discontinued. I got it as a freebie gwp. Sadly it’s going in the trash.

   I ordered this on-line at a discount, and that’s always iffy! The words Sheer Red enticed me, but this does not work at all on my very fair, pinkish skin. Much too bright, and like others have said, if you don’t smooth it out right away, it’s anything but sheer.

   I also did not like that it dispenses via pump, you always wind up with far too much and then you have to scrub your fingertips right away. I’ll put it away in my “this didn’t work” box!

   I think these are possibly the best cheek stains I have ever used. They are way better than Benetint , Philosophy and MAC’s stains.I think the reason they have only so-so reviews (QVC & Makeupalley) is down to their incredibly fast setting ability. For me this is not a problem, I use a synthetic foundation brush and put a tiny dab on the end and blend super fast .Once it’s on, it’s on for the whole day until you remove it.
   Though they seem rather pricey, they are worth it as one tiny pump’s worth will do both your cheeks , so a bottle will take ages to finish. I have all four colours, a pale pink, a hot pink , a subtle peach and a warm red.They all show up on me and I have rather tanned skin , but I do prefer a low key cheek .
   The product itself is a semi translucent serum like gel that looks very natural on as they are the correct texture and spread well without being splotchy or steaky the way liquid tintscan do . I layer these under Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush for extra impact ,particularly shimmery ones like ‘Glisten’.
   Because of their impressive staying power I heartily recommend these to oily/ combo skins and those who like to wear make up at the beach or in humid climates. I will certainly be taking mine with me on holiday this Christmas.

   I love the different Tarte blushes, but this one is tricky. It stains immediately, so it must be blended very quickly and if you use your fingers, you must wash them immediately. The first time I used it I dotted some on one cheek and began blending, but even that wasn’t fast enough and the dots I placed stained some and didn’t quite blend out. You can’t put some of the back of your hand to dip into, because it will stain your hand. It’s tricky.

   What seems to work for me is putting a small amount on my thumbnail (which is polished, otherwise it would probably stain my nail, too!) and working from that. I use a duo-fiber brush to dip into the tiny amount of product on my thumb and begin blending it onto my cheeks. So far this seems to work well, but I’d much prefer if this product didn’t stain so quickly that I have to resort to workarounds. I have this in the Nectar color, which is a lovely peachy coral color. The color is nice and it does last, but I prefer the 12-Hr Amazonian Clay blushes Tarte makes, as they’re just so much easier to work with.

   This is a new tint by Tarte that is infused with Maracuja oil and has four colors: Light Nectar, Light Pink, Deep Berry, Sheer Red. The first two are geared toward lighter skintones, and the latter two towards darker skintones. However, Deep Berry is allegedly the most universal of the colors. I own this color and it works for my fair to light skintone. It is in a small pump bottle and is applied with your fingers. There are mixed reviews for this product but I think most would agree the tint lasts!! In fact, if you leave this product on too long before spreading it, it will leave an uneven stain that is difficult to wash off. It is important to remember that a very small amount goes a long way. Even 1/2 a pump will be too much for some. I use a pin-sized amount for each cheek, so even though it is $25 for .35 oz of product it will last for a very long time. Do one cheek at a time and spread immediately. The color leaves a beautiful, natural flush if done correctly. It think it is great for dry or older skin because it does not settle into lines or look flakey. Take care to wash your fingers immediately, as it will stain the tips. Even so, some stain may be left on the fingers but eventually goes away. To me, this is a small price to pay for the natural looking and lasting outcome. It sounds complicated but it takes very little practice and time to get the technique down. Some say they would prefer an applicator but I think fingers are the best option for this type of stain. A brush or similar applicator may deposit too much product and nobody wants to look like a clown. I think it is worth a try.
