   I’m a firm believer that you can live a complete life owning only Chanel make up products. They basically never disappoints, and neither does their blush. I went on for months longing for this product and went in to every store like a lovesick dog in heat, just gazing and touching longingly on this velvety, unreachable creation. Maybe it was the color “Revelation” that kind of messed with my head as this kind of muted rose tones always do (think Kylie Jenners’ lip color and you know it has gotten to you too). Anyway, I finally bought it at the airport in Vienna and well… It isn’t all that.
   Or, to be exact, I’m not all that when it comes to applying it. This one requires a delicate hand. To be a cream, it is densely pigmented, something that most people prefer in an eye shadow. Personally, I don’t get the cream-to-powder concept. When buying a cream blush, at least I want something buttery, something that glides and leaves a hint of color and a sensual moist sheen behind. Something effortless. Something that makes you look like you have been skiing in Aspen and glow from within of pure untamed health. This goes on very powdery. To use it on the lips would be out of the question, and to use it with fingertips is just plain hard. I can imagine that a very skilled makeup artist, who prefers powders, would get a lot out of this little thing. And if you have severely oily skin, this might be the answer to your prayers.
   The packaging will corrupt your brain if the color failed to do so. Le Blush Creme comes in this velvet pouch that is to die for. Every time you go to retouch your makeup, you will feel like Elizabeth Taylor – it is almost too much. But I’m not complaining. Now if Chanel could just sell me those violet eyes!

   People must think I work for Chanel given that I rave about their products and this is no exception. I am a huge creme blush fan and nearly always prefer it to powder. Initially I found this shade range to be boring, but they come to life when you swatch them and apply on your face. It does set to a powder and blends seamlessly into the skin with a finish that is matte yet luminous!? I know sounds sounds strange but I think best describes it. I like that the finish doesn’t look obviously powdery and prefer the finish to super dewy and often oily creme blushes. The formula feels so silky smooth and is a pleasure to swatch or apply if you fancy finger application.

   I prefer to apply this with a stippling brush rather than fingers but you can’t really go wrong either way. This particular shade looks like a boring, warm rosy pink in the pan, but comes off as a beautiful and flattering pink with a touch of coral that doesn’t make it orange and just adds a lovely flush of radiant rosey pink without any of the red, brown or mauve tones I find accompany rosier colours. Yeah I suck at explaining shades…

   I find this lasts all day no problem and doesn’t make my skin look dry. This is a definite favourite and I haven’t used anything other blush since I’ve bought it. No exaggeration. As for the packaging, it comes in a mini black sleeve, is plastic and light making it convenient for slipping into make up pouches/storage.

   this is pretty but to me not worth the price (although a little goes a long way). This creamblush is quite matte, so if you already have a powderblush that is matte, there’s no need to also get this cream blush.
   If it had a natural glow to it i would buy this!

   The product is fine, it’s just not what i’m looking for.

   This is my first cream blush, as a blush fanatic I have quite a few powder blushers but had always avoided cream ones even though I have dry skin. I heard so many people rave about this product I had to pick one up to try. I wanted fantastic (LE purple) originally but couldn’t find it in stores. I picked up revelation instead and it’s this lovely pink that turns a bit warm on me. I don’t mind the colour change too much since the formula is basically perfection. I am scared to try other cream blushers because I fear they won’t measure up to this one. It is a lovely cream that blends into a powdery texture. It takes 1-2 finger swipes per cheek to build up to the colour I want. It lasts at least 9 hours (even after a long nap). I would love to try other colours but $49 (including tax- canada) is a bit much. I don’t think it’s “worth” the splurge (if you generally spend a lot less on makeup) unless you love cream blushers and have a certain colour but I love this and will probably repurchase. If you have that disposable income though it’s definitely a great product that I use 4-5 times a week (sometimes by itself for a super natural look or under a powder blusher for something stronger).

   I’ve been using creme blush for a long time and there’s many good ones out there, YSL, MUFE liquid, Smashbox, Tarte, even Maybelline, etc. so I almost didn’t try this but when I ran out, I thought it was worth testing. It is awesome! Amazingly light weight, long wearing on my normal-to-dry skin; I just tap it on with my fingers and it sculpts cheekbones I never knew I had. Very healthy looking, perfect color and I will definitely repurchase.

   Because my skin is aged, I wanted a cream blush. I’ve been unable to find anything I liked, until I found this one.
   First off, I love this color. It looks very dark (and scary) in the container, but it goes on just lovely. It’s just right. I don’t care for mauve colors.. this color is a very natural pinky/coral color. Even if I’m in the mood to get a little crazy with it, it’s still a great color and doesn’t look like Miss Piggy cheeks.
   I’m really impressed with how well it goes on. I use a brush and more of a blotting motion than a sweeping one. It blends really well.
   I wish it lasted a little longer, but it’s good enough.
   I’m really happy with it.

   I am a fan of these new Chanel creme blushes. They are pigmented but sheer, glowy without any shimmer, and last longer than any other cream blush I’ve tried (Chantecaille, Bobbi Brown, Kevyn Aucoin) and longer than many powder blushes that I wear (Nars, Chanel Jouer, Laura Mercier). The only longer lasting blush I’ve found is the Tarte Amazon line.

   I’ve seen Revelation described as “warm, rose pink” and “rose mauve,” but on me this color is a very warm rose leaning coral rather than mauve. It is my perfect “wear with everything” natural blush. I have used fingers (dot and tap) and a foundation brush to apply, but my favorite application is with Sephora’s pro airbrush #55–a tap in the blush and some gentle stroking on the cheek and I’ve got sheer, natural glowy color that last for hours.

   Revelation is one of the creme blushes put out for Fall 2013. The Chanel website lists only the colors Presage and Fantastic as LE, so I assume the rest, including Revelation, will be permanent. They are small so seem pricey at $38, but they’re so pigmented that a little goes a long way.
