This used to be one of my favorite blushes. When I started getting serious about makeup, I went to Sephora and one of the sales associate sold me on this blush. That was years ago…I stopped wearing makeup regularly for a few years and now am just getting back into the swing of things. When I was organizing my makeup collection, keeping the good and tossing the bad, I came across an unused box of this blush so I kept it. The formula is a bit spotty now, being that it is so old. It sometimes shows up a light wash of peachy pink, and other times it just disappears on the skin (depending on how dark or light my foundation is that day). I find that the color also doesn’t stay, it fades as the day passes. I don’t think Benefit sells this by itself anymore, but if they did, I probably would not repurchase because I have now found my HG blush in Honest Beauty’s Creme Cheek Blush in Rose Pink.

I love this blush a lot, particularly when I want a natural look. It gives a gorgeous peachy/coral flush to the cheeks with a flattering gold sheen that makes the skin glow and look healthy in the light. This blush is lightly pigmented, and is sheer, but can be built up nicely. I like to use in for more natural makeup days, it gives a perfect natural, summertime look to the cheeks. It has paired nicely with all the foundations I have tried it with (IT Cosmetics CC+, EL Double Wear and L’occitane Immortelle Precious BB cream for some examples). I actually use the brush that comes with it – a makeup sin I know! – but it works well for me, and fits the apples of my cheeks almost perfectly, so the fact that it comes with a useful brush is a bonus for me. I also enjoy the fact that the packaging comes with a mirror! My only negatives are that I don’t love the cardboard packaging and would prefer plastic, though I do love the design on the box, and that these are extremely expensive in Australia ($52AUD – $10 more than MAC!). I only ever pick up Benefit blushes when they go on sale, and I am always glad to have them in my collection, but the expensive price point cannot go unacknowledged. I do find this blush great quality and I love the colour. I definitely would repurchase it when I finish it, and would happily recommend it. Coralista is worth the splurge.

I am a C6 in Mac Face & Body, Barcelona in Nars Sheer Glow – so a medium brown skin with neutral undertones. And, coralista does not show up on me! What a bummer!
PROS:
-GORGEOUS PACKAGING! OMG that cute box with pink animal prints! It looks so pretty sitting in my vanity. Plus, I really love the brush that comes with it. I think its so good for contouring (flat shape) – I actually wash the brush along with my pro brushes and use it regularly. Good quality packaging and brush!
-Really nice coral shade for lighter skin tones. Did not show up on me whatsoever, so couldn’t judge the product for staying power etc.
CONS:
-SHIMMER! YUCK! I hate shimmery blushes. I like matte colours because I can always ADD highlight if and where I want to. I don’t like shimmer on the apple of my cheeks – just wrong placement imo and highlights pores meh.
I will admit the shimmer is not huge and chunky. But, because the pigment doesn’t show up on me, all I am left with is shine so it doesn’t work.
-NEEDS MORE PIGMENTATION! Light coral blushes CAN AND DO show up on darker skins (and I am not even dark skin proper), so Benefit has no excuse.
-The PRICE! Not worth the poor pigmentation. Plus, being shimmery this blush is less flexible for all occasions/skins.
VERDICT: Disappointed. Bought this when it came out and was all the rage on youtube. I.need.to.stop.being.sheep! 🙁

Pretty colour, however if you are very fair-skinned like me, you should be light handed with this blush as can be overpowering!

If you are fair-medium or darker, I don’t think this blush would work well because it’s very faint and light in colour payoff. After I apply this, it looks like I didn’t apply any blush because it would just blend in with my skin.

I don’t get the hype – I really don’t. I’m NC25-30 and this blush barely showed on my skin. I tried every brush imaginable and after about 3 layers I finally saw a hint of pigment. At $28 a pop, I expected more. That said, it’s classic benefit packaging and quality. I just wished the pigmentation was better. Oh well.

I received a mini version this in the 2012 Benefit’s “Coral My World” (along with a mini version of Sun Beam) I don’t know how it’s taken me this long to review this blush but I love it. Oh my NC20-25 skin this is the perfect, slightly dewey flush that makes my cheeks look healthy. I don’t notice any chunky glitter (compared to similar peachy blushes on the market) and the lasting power is pretty decent. I haven’t hit pan on the mini size (great for travel) but wouldn’t hesitate to buy the full size when I run out. The fallout is minimal and the color is so glowy and subtle!

I found this product through a Colour Analysis website. It was recommended as a blush for very fair, warm skintones, and this is exactly right. I’m about as pale as you can get without being albino, but I do have a warm undertone. I can’t wear most blushers because they are too pigmented or too dark for me. I don’t like a heavily pigmented look, as if you are pale it can look overdone, especially in summer.
This blush goes on very smoothly, and although there is a slight shimmer it does look natural, just a bit dewy. It comes in a tiny box (which is why I took one lippie off the price, as I think for this price they could give you a bit more). Within the box is a small brush, which – as other reviewers have said – is not very useful. I don’t use this brush but put the blush on my Kabuki brush, and this gives just the right coverage and area for me.
In warmer weather I like this very much. It’s still good in colder weather, unlike the Shiseido blush I have reviewed elsewhere, which puts on too much pigment. The BeneFit Coralista is still easy to apply on my skin, which gets drier in winter. I will probably use it forever!

Edit: After having owned the blush for a while, I have a complaint about the formula. It gets weird pretty quick for a powder. After about 6 months, the product gets much more powdery and has a more patchy application. It’s something to keep in mind, since most powders don’t have that change as quickly.
Original: This is the blush that made me fall in love with blush! I had never tried a really peachy pink blush before, since I always saw people wearing cool-toned pinks (which look terrible on me). But once I discovered this blush, I absolutely fell in love. It gives just the right amount of color for my fair skin, and lasts a long while. It has a bit of a sheen, but it’s more dewy than glittery. The packaging is admittedly very annoying, as I’m really not a fan of bulky packaging that makes things hard to store. But the performance of this blush makes me forgive that one flaw.

This blush is alright. Just alright.
I love the smell and the packaging is cute but I bit too bulky, I’m really not sure why it’s so boxy and the brush inside was useless and poor quality to me.
The colour is nice in summer and spring, with a very light hand on my fair skin it’s nice and gives me a bit of a glow. I don’t like the texture though, at first it was nice but underneath the first layer it becomes a bit rough and isn’t smooth.
I will continue to use this product because it was so expensive and is nice in summer, but would not repurchase. Perhaps it would be better for a darker skin tone?
