This is my first Hourglass blush. The price and the fact that I have access to Japanese blushes from Suqqu and THREE has always kept me away, but on my recent trip to Italy I received a gift card from the Rinascente Department Store, so I decided to splurge. The Hourglass SA at Rinascente was really great, and he let me try on different Hourglass blushes, before deciding that for my skintone and the colors I wear, the Electra was the best fit. It is a great blush, especially when worn in a C shape, almost like contouring the cheeks, but slightly higher than regular contour, which is how Europeans wear blush. When worn on the apples, like the Japanese do it, it`s not as great for me. I like the luminosity and sun kissed subtle coloring it imparts, but the price is too steep compared to my Suqqu blushes. Longevity is okay, but not as good as I would expect at that price. I like the absence of fragrance and plant oils in this.

Gah I adore this blush it is just so pretty! About me NW20, blonde hair, green eyes, and very cool undertones for reference. I have read this is a cool peach shade and for my very cool complextion this works so well. When I look at this in the light it is very shimmery but once applied in the light it looks so good not sparkles or anything in a bad way. It just gives my cheeks a luminous glow. It melts into my skin as the day goes on. It barely fades at all.
It’s quite lovely and beautiful I also own Ethereal Glow and love that as well. But Incandescent Electra is so gorgeous that I’ve been using it all the time. It goes very well with my Naked Heat palette or with shades in that realm. This shade lasts without a retouch all day for me. The formula is so smooth and applies seamlessly. It actually looks very natural on me too.
This blush is worth every penny in my case because it’s everything I like in a blush. I collect blushes so having this in my collection makes me happy. I also want to get more from this formula for fall and winter when I wear more berry toned blushes. This though is a beautiful product I love the packaging it’s sturdy and the mirror is good. I would repurchase this in a heartbeat. Recommended.

Incandescent Electra is honestly the most used blush out of my huge collection. After a year of using it as an almost daily blush, I repurchased it right away–which is no easy feat, considering that I lost count of my blush collection after 40+. Considering that I’ve had my NARS Deep Throat for 6 years until I finally used it up recently, this truly is my one true love for blushes. :’)
Incandescent Electra is a very beautiful warm, light flamingo pink with silvery pinkish lilac ‘veins’ running throughout. It has great colour payoff and pigmentation, but it’s not hard to work with at all. The texture of the blush is very smooth and silky. Since there is the Strobe Lighting Powder running throughout, this blush imparts a very healthy glow on my cheeks without coming off as chunky or glittery in the slightest. This blush imparts a really healthy, innocent flush to my cheeks and makes me look very fresh-faced. I would recommend this blush to everyone, though it may not work out so well for those with medium to deep skin. If you’re pale to light-medium, it would be absolutely perfect!

I didnt really like the casing which easily has finger prints on. A very light hand is needed for this so I think this would probably last for quite sometime.
Somehow I didnt like the pink tone, a little too bright for me. I tried swiping twice and ended up too pinkish so I had to tone down using my face powder.
Due to the pricing, casing and tone, I probably would not purchase this again.

I love this blush. I use it almost everyday. The color is a beautiful peachy pink. I have pale skin and this doesn’t show up too dark on me. It gives a beautiful pop of color to the cheeks. The finish is a soft matte. I don’t get any shimmer off it. I use this blush at least 4-5 times a week and I’ve had it for over a year and there is a small dip in it. Hourglass is becoming my favorite line for blushes.

I love this blush. It’s a corally pink that is just perfect for my very fair skin. Actually several of the Hourglass shades work on my skin, which I appreciate more than I can tell Hourglass, but this is my top choice. I love that Hourglass has made so many powders that work beautifully on fair skin. This blush is beautiful. It’s worth the money. I’ve used mine for a year now and I’m barely making a dent in it. It’s just perfect.

This has become a staple for me. On average, I wear it about once a week, which is a lot considering how many blushes I own. It’s a beautiful corally warm pink with a subtle sheen that instantly brightens my NC15-20 skin, and I need just a small amount. I love wearing it with Chanel Complice eye shadow as a wash, a little black liner and By Terry Baume de Rose in Coral Stellar for a simple, fresh look, or with more intense eye makeup – today I’m wearing it with NARS eye shadow in Deep End (shimmery aqua) and it looks great. I’m praying Hourglass doesn’t ever discontinue it because I haven’t seen a coral blush quite this pretty in ages.

Incandescent Electra used to come only as part of a pallette, but now Hourglass have released it on its own, due to popular demand… I ordered it blind, just from looking at swatches online..
It is a lovely peachy rosey colour with a lovely sheen to it that highlights.. however as with so many blushers, because I’m fair, it applied quite pigmented and looked very very bright on me!… I have to use the lightest hand with the softest brush I have (Suqqu), and even then I sometimes need to fluff some powder on top to dumb it down a bit.. it’s just too bright for me, but I’m determined not to waste it, it was pricy! but I wouldn’t repurchase.

Hourglass describes this blush as an incandescent peach but I found it to be more coral pink than peach. The color is beautiful and has an incandescent powder in it, Hourglass describes this as an opalescent pearl powder that brightens the complexion with a celestial glow. I think that’s a pretty accurate description. It does give a soft pearly glow without shimmer or glitter, just a soft glimmer or glow on the skin. The color should compliment a variety of skin tones and will look really nice during spring and summer. It goes on the skin in a soft wash of color that is build-able and it blends out very well. I have found all these blushes to perform very well lasting 6 hours or more on my normal to dry skin. The price is $35 which is steep but if your looking to purchase a high end blush this one you should definitely consider.
