Thanks to MUA reviews, I went out and purchased at the local Nordstrom. I am not sure what people are referring to with the brush, but it is working quite well. The color is wonderful and the staying power is terrific. I do like even better than their other gels.

Easy to use but too dark for me

Love the formula. Really gives you the bushy eyebrow look . It thickens them and lengthens them. My only gripe with this is the BRUSH!!!! That thing is way to large. i wish it was more similar to the benefit or colourpop brow brush. If it had a smaller and thinner applicator then it would be AWESOME

Best purchase I’ve made in a while! Recently went from auburn to silver hair and needed an ashier brow shade. Ii’d been using the Dipbrow Pomade, but thinking about trying something else anyway. My brows are pretty sparse, and I was having trouble getting the sparser areas to look related to the fuller areas. Furthermore, the Pomade seemed to fade during the day, despite using it with a primer—and I don’t have oily skin.
Well, I was all set to try an Anastasia powder when the Sephora MA suggested this. I was a little hesitant, having tried a brow “mascara” before. She put it on me and it looked terrific, so I allotted extra time to get ready this evening thinking there might be a learning curve. Nope. Half the time of the Pomade! I used her trick of using just the tip of the spoolie, excess wiped off of course, to draw and fill in. Wow! Not only easy, but the best my brows have looked in many years.

I got this in a set with the brow whiz from Ulta. It was actually cheaper than just the pencil on its own. This is an ok product and probably would work well for someone with fuller brows looking for a hold and definition but I have sparser brows and found this to be messy and the end result looked unnatural. Like mascara you have to wipe most of the product off of the wand or it makes a huge mess of your brows and build it up. No matter how careful I was or how thinly I layered this on it looks obvious and required a lot of clean up around the edges. Some apply it with a brow brush to avoid the mess but if I wanted to do that I’d buy the dip brow pomade. It lasts longer. I like the clear gel better. Combined with the brow whiz I get the natural look I’m after quicker and with less mess and fuss.

I needed to replace my latest tube of Glossier Boy Brow and I heard about this and picked it up at my local Ulta. I was initially attracted to it because of the color selection as the Boy Brow in brown is a little too light for me but black looks to dark. I got this in dark brown and its a good match. This is great stuff. It holds, defines and adds some thickness just as well if not better than Boy Brow. Its pretty pigmented so scrape the tube before applying to the brows and apply lightly. Because its so pigmented it can be used like an actual brow pomade with with a angled brush to fill in sparse areas. Just run the brush along the spoolie to pick up product and draw it on where you need it. This is great because it means I can use this as my only brow product.
My only wish is that spoolie was a little smaller for more control but I can work with this one just fine. Price is decent for how much product you get.

A game changer. This cuts down on time spent on my brows and the products I use. I love the look of dip brow pomade, but it’s too time comsuming for everyday. This gives the look I love of their pomade in less time. I tried to use it like I’ve seen on instagram. They dip a brush in it and paint it on. I didn’t like that. I get the best look by shaping my brows and filling them in a bit with pencil (I use two shades for dimension). Then I go in with the gel. I start mid way and drag the product to the ends. I even press the spoolie down to my skin to help fill in my brows, then i feather it in lightly in front. Don’t start right at the front. It’s a very pigmented gel. It will be too much. I would recommend going a shade down from your pomade shade for that reason. Also once it dries, I like to comb through with a spoolie. This stuff lasts all day too. I even sat front seat on splash mountain and my brows did not budge!
It’s expensive for a brow gel, but so worth it. Before for my daily brow, I was using brow powder, pencil, clear brow gel, and tinted brow gel to get the look I wanted. This has become a staple in my routine!
