If you are looking for a very, very matte BB cream, this is it. However, if you want a dewy, moisturizing BB cream, this isn’t for you.
Texture: this smoothes onto skin easily, with a slightly mousse-like texture. It dries quickly.
Finish: This doesn’t seem to emphasize pores. The finish is very matte, so much so that dry-skinned people probably won’t like this very much. You could apply a moisturizer under it, but that sort of defeats the purpose of an all-in-one BB cream. As for me, I will be putting this away until summer. It’s too dry for my skin right now (at the end of the winter) but on a hot sweaty summer day I could see this being excellent.
Colour: I bought the lightest shade (“light”), which looks fine on me but might be too dark for those with very fair/alabaster skin.
Scent: none that I could detect. Which is very good!
Package: fine, but nothing exciting. The matte black tube is boring, and the screw-off cap (as opposed to a flip-top) is annoying. Compared to other PF creams, the packaging is kind of a let-down on an aesthetic level. But functionally, it’s okay.
SPF: the US version of this indicates that it’s SPF30, but the Canadian version makes no mention of SPF. I’m not sure if this is a drug labelling issue or if the products are actually different, but just wanted to note it.

im kind of weary when trying physicians formula foundations/bb creams because they are either so good or so bad. this one is really good, (their super bb white packaging is so bad).
this cream is a light-medium coverage and its texture is a bit moussey, it blends into the skin easily and right now light matches my shade. i appreciate the spf 30 in this bb cream.
i like any product that comes in either a tube or pump bottle, and you also get 1.2 ounces of product, which is a little more than the standard 1 fluid oz. im looking forward to trying the whole line of #instaready products at the same time to see how it looks

I have hyperpigmentation and the occasional hormonal breakout so I was a bit concerned about coverage but wanted the BB cream benefits. I previously tried smashbox’s camera ready BB cream but wasn’t at all impressed especially for the price. On a recent CVS trip I decided to try this product and I’m glad I did. This works beautifully, it has a creamy consistency and builds up to a medium coverage. I start with a thin layer all over my face then spot cover any areas that need extra coverage.
Before this I was using Physicians formula talc free mineral loose powered as my everyday foundation. However I now use this BB cream for everyday and the loose powder foundation for special occasions/when I want full coverage.
