This BB cream has a lovely very skin-like ”fair” shade which isn’t too orange or dark. It applies like a dream, hydrates, and blends into the skin beautifully making you look fresh and awake! And you can use your fingers for a quicker application and achieve an even finish.

Pros:
+cheap price
+feels very hydrating
+lovely,slightly dewy finish
+very skin-like and natural
+it’s dry skin friendly.doesn’t exacerbate dry patches.doesn’t look dry, cakey or flakey
+easily blends even with fingers
+shade 03 is a great choice for light-medium skins and has a very natural undertone(it’s slightly on the olive side.very rare for a bb cream)
+isn’t long-lasting if you don’t set it with powder but doesn’t look patchy at the end of the day
+comes in a travel friendly plastic tube
+has SPF30
+doesn’t break me out.actually my skin feels more happy and healthy since I’m using it
Cons:
-coverage is light.acceptable for a BB cream but I wish it was a bit more
-I go through a tube very quickly.I doubt there’s really 30mil of product in it
-it’s difficult to find in my country
-never completely sets but doesn’t stay totally wet either
-doesn’t blur pores, but doesn’t make them look bigger either
I had good experience with another Maybelline BB cream (Dream Fresh BB Cream) long ago and Maybelline Dream Liquid Satin is one of my HG foundations so I was curious to try Dream Satin BB Cream.most Maybelline foundations aren’t widely available in my country so after a lot of search I was only able to find it in the third shade,Light-Medium.I was sure it’s going to be dark (I’m shade 10 in Dream Liquid Satin) and hoped it not to look like an oompa loompa orange on me.well,I LOVE it’s color.it’s half a shade dark for me but I don’t care as shades that are light enough to match my chest and body don’t look good on me and this one has such a natural undertone.finally a bb cream that’s not orange or peachy or brown or white! If you’re around NC20-25 it can be your shade too
It certainly must have the hydrating serum it claims on it’s tube.I have dry skin and I never put on any base product without moisturizing first.this one is one of the rare occasions that a foundation/BB Cream sits and blends so well even without a moisturizer.it melts in and becomes one with my skin, zero cakeyness, zero flakey skin, zero clinging to dry patches.it’s exactly as if I have no makeup and my own skin is so even,well-hydrated and healthy.on my combo-dry skin(oily nose, dry elsewhere) it has a natural-slightly dewy finish.coverage is light but enough to even out my skin and cover the light redness I have on my cheeks but I definitely have to use concealer to cover my dark cycles
I also like that it has spf30 (though I never rely on makeup stuffs sun protection) and some ingredients such as Aloe Vera extract,Chamomile extract and Glycerin.I also like how easy to use it is.it’s plastic tube is travel friendly and it looks lovely no matter I use sponge,my fingers or a brush.it doesn’t look patchy or cakey at the end of the day.just a bit more dewy but it never seems to completely set so I sometimes set it with a loose powder.by the way about it’s tube,I felt there’s very little product in it,it seemed to be mostly air since I first unsealed the tube
Maybelline is turning to one of my favorite foundation brands.this BB Cream was only 4USD and I like it more than some high-end BB creams.it’s exactly what I though Guerlain Baby Glow will be (and it wasn’t).highly recommended for normal to dry skin types

Overall, not a very good BB cream. I have this in 02 light, which is a pinker/cooler colour than 01 fair.
Pros: 1. Colour isn’t as orange/yellow as other drugstore BB creams; 2. Smells good, not too strong.
Cons: 1. Colour is still too dark for light skin and too yellow for even a neutral undertone; 2. Coverage is very light; doesn’t really cover redness much; 3. Coverage also doesn’t do much for pores or blurring; 4. Texture gets VERY weird on my nose and forehead creases. Perhaps moisturising beforehand would help, but this is a BB cream. It’s supposed to be one-and-one. If you put it on VERY thinly it might be better. But, like, why? 5. It claims to have SPF 30, but since it’s not actually rated for UVA/UVB, I don’t believe this is an approved SPF. So it might as well not have any SPF in it.
I’d hoped this new BB cream would be better than the other Maybelline ones I’ve seen reviewed, but it seems not.
